It was a surprisingly interesting read.
With 3 kids under 6, a full time busy job 9 to 6 and starting my business on the side, I was struggling to find enough time in my week to achieve everything I needed and wanted to achieve.
Now I have read this book cover to cover and planning to go back, read it again to lock in some of the fundamentals in my daily routine. I've found having that thought "is this activity I'm doing the most important thing that will drive me forward and make everything else easier?" yes? Excellent.. No? Well park it, analyse what I should be focusing on and do that. It's worth having a journal that you update in the morning, identify those top things, time block your day and then review at night to hold yourself accountable.
Much longer review than I was planning but thus book is one of the best I have read for getting me focused and on track to complete my life goals.
I Got afraid of the answer and decided it better to continue doing all the other low value things I had on my plate. Only just now after realising that the approach I decided to take after putting down the book didn’t work I thought I might pick it up and practice the art of finishing what I started
I am yet to complete the activities in this book but I believe if I give them the time they deserve I may find the answer I have been looking for
Thanks Gary this book has been a real Eye opener and I certainly don’t want to live out my remaining days in full regret for what could have been but slipped through my fingers
