Right from the moment I installed them on my bike, I noticed an immediate difference. The first thing that struck me was how incredibly lightweight they are. The carbon fiber construction makes a world of difference in reducing rotational weight, allowing me to accelerate with ease and climb the small hills of Florida effortlessly. It feels like I have a jet engine on my bike!
Moreover, the aerodynamic design of these wheels has significantly improved my overall speed. I've noticed that I can maintain higher velocities without expending as much energy, making long rides much more enjoyable and less exhausting. The reduced wind resistance has been a blessing during those intense sprints, giving me the confidence to push my limits.
Another remarkable aspect of the Superteam carbon fiber wheels is their stiffness and responsiveness. Cornering feels stable, and the wheels track flawlessly, even on rough roads. The enhanced power transfer ensures that every ounce of energy I put into pedaling is utilized efficiently, resulting in a noticeable boost in performance.
Let's not forget about the durability of these wheels. Despite enduring various challenging terrains and occasional bumps, they have shown no signs of wear or compromise. It's evident that Superteam has invested in quality materials and craftsmanship to create a product that withstands the test of time.
The stylish appearance of these wheels also deserves a mention. They have garnered numerous compliments during group rides, and it's always satisfying to know that my bike looks as good as it performs.
In conclusion, the Superteam carbon fiber bike wheels have transformed my cycling experience for the better. The combination of lightweight design, improved aerodynamics, and excellent durability make these wheels worth every penny. If you're a serious cyclist looking to take your rides to the next level, I highly recommend giving these wheels a try. You won't be disappointed! Happy cycling! 🚴♂️💨

1) Really good customer service. The initial order said it would take until September to arrive. I emailed the seller to ask about that, and was assured they would be here much sooner. They arrived about a week after I ordered them.
2) Wheels were perfectly true out of the box (I have a truing stand and ran both front and back on it - neither had any issues. This made it fairly easy to install - my only issue was particular to me. These rims are a decent bit wider than what I had, and it took me several tries to get the brakes dialed in - my first trial run was beset by brake rubbing, and I had a similar problem on a long ride the next day. This was my error, but be aware if you get these and do the work yourself, take plenty of time to get the brakes dialed in before setting out.
3) The wheels feel very nice (from a ride perspective). I replaced a set of wheels with Alex 28mm rims. These ride much, much better. Part of that is probably accounted for by the wider tires I'm running, though those tires are gatorskins which tend to ride worse than the supersports I replaced.
4) The wheels feel fast - this may be psychological, I admit. I have been faster on my usual routes, but I've also been putting in a lot of miles the last few months. When cruising along above 17MPH, especially above 20MPH, they feel different, at least I've convinced myself they do. FWIW, my 16 year old things they feel fast as well. It's hard to quantify the difference without better power data than I have.
5) The value proposition. I probably would not have purchased deep carbon rims had I not found these. I was looking at a few other lower cost options (Light wheels, lower end Reynolds or Mavic), but would have waited longer. These feel great, particularly for the price.
6) Looks. I posted a pic of them on my bike above. Again, this is subjective, but I think they look really nice on the bike. Does this matter? Not really, but I'm ok with a little vanity here and there.
7) a few details on my ride - I'm riding a small Ridley Fenix frame with 105 throughout (other than brakes and crank). It was not a light build (just over 20 lbs). These wheels are noticeably lighter than what I had.
Negatives
1) The rear hub is very, very loud when freewheeling. Louder than the mavic ksyriums on my old Orbea that I've handed down to my son. Some like louder hubs - people on the trail certainly here me coming - but they are a little loud for me.
That's all I have to say that is negative. I am thrilled with this purchase. At the price I paid, even if they don't last as long as Zipps or HED or Reynolds or DT Swiss, I'm good with it. I'll update if I start having any issues, but 400 miles in I couldn't be happier (other than not having a bit of brake rub on the first 10 miles of a 67 mile ride).
Update: I now have about 1400 miles on these wheels, and I'm still quite happy. They are still true and, at least mentally, they feel faster than what I had. My only issue with them continues to be the brakes on my bike - not the wheels fault. One way my bike was such a good price was that the crank and brakes were a lower spec than the 105 of everything else. The brakes are hard to keep well adjusted.
