One thing that really stood out to me about the Kishi V2 is how easy it is to mount onto my phone. The Kishi V2 has a flexible design that allows it to fit securely onto a wide range of phones, and it's as easy as sliding the phone into the device. Once the phone is in place, it's very secure and doesn't move around at all during gameplay.
The controller itself is very responsive and feels great in my hands. The buttons and triggers are all very tactile and easy to press, which makes playing games much more enjoyable. The controller is also very lightweight, which means that I can play for hours without experiencing any hand fatigue.
Another great thing about the Kishi V2 is that it's compatible with a wide range of games, including many of my favorite titles. It's also very easy to use with services like Xbox Game Pass and Google Stadia, which makes it a great option for anyone who wants to play console-quality games on their mobile device.
Overall, I highly recommend the Razer Kishi V2 to anyone looking for a high-quality, easy-to-mount controller for mobile gaming. It's a great product that delivers amazing results. Give it a try - you won't be disappointed! 5/5 stars.
The good part about the controller, it's comfortable to hold in my hands. My hand is average M glove size. The buttons are also very clicky in a good way. You can feel the click clearly. The buttons are more than enough for gaming purposes. The joysticks are good to use. Some YouTubers don't like it, but I have no problem with the joysticks.
I will return the product due to the iPhone 14 Pro Max compatibility issues I mentioned above. I will definitely get it if Razer finds a way to fix this in their future Kishi generations.
If you're looking for a mobile controller I would recommend an Xbox controller mount over this cheap scam. Do not buy, even if it didn't break the build quality is really bad.
The joystick felt like there wasn't enough travel so small movements were more difficult.
Worst of all the left joystick didn't respond when pushed right. Defective.
Needed to take the case off my phone dispite the v2 having removable rubber pads to make space for Usb-c I could not connect with my thin case on.
Replaced v2 with gamesir x2 pro, it fit without removing the case right out of the box.
When I bought it I didn't research as much as I should have.
Kishi v2 doesn't collapse to a smaller form like the v1, assuming it would be like the first one with better quality was my mistake.
Not worth the money. I'm so much happier with gamesir x2 pro
Which brings me to the only sticking point, that for the price you pay you're not getting blue tooth, which some games require to use a controller in the first place(call of duty, apex). But those games seem to be the only exception I've found, everything else especially emulators work without a hitch. This could be fixed in future updates.
Overall, this is the best mobile controller that snaps onto a phone, by far. I've tried a bunch of them from different companies and they all have faults. The Razer Kishi V2 is the summit, nothing comes close. There are really no issues to speak of. Hopefully the buttons, telescoping back and USB c connector hold up over time.
Well worth the money, especially if you can grab it on sale, then it's a no brainer.

I know the GameCube came out 20 years ago at this point, but it continues to be quite surreal being able to play GameCube games on the go on a general-purpose device, with physical controls!
Original review follows, with some edits based on my experience:
I have a hackable Switch, but chose to try this out after being extremely disappointed with the Switch's performance as an emulation system — late N64 releases barely run, and don't even think about playing GameCube games.
The Kishi perfectly fits my Xiaomi Mi 10T Pro 5G out of the box (a phone too big for the Kishi V1, which has hardware about twice as good as a Switch). Buttons feel good, not mushy, and the sticks are good. Triggers feel nice, and the analog support is always nice to have (Looking at you, Nintendo.). The four auxillary buttons are in kind of weird places, but it works.
Tightly grips the phone, and the slight curve to the grips is much more comfortable than holding the phone itself, or even Switch Joy-Con. Build quality feels solid; it flexes a little bit when fully extended, but that's not a position you'll ever have it in except when putting the phone in.
The Razer Nexus app is a little weird and not terribly useful, but it runs under microG and doesn't require an internet connection. The touch control emulation works great in the few apps I've tried it in, but it's necessarily a pretty subpar experience. I didn't keep playing games that required it, native controller support is the way to go. Verify that the games you want to play support controllers before purchasing!
Works perfectly in RetroArch, Lemuroid, and Dolphin — also works to navigate Android itself. Waiting (im)patiently for Yuzu controller support to report on that.
I got this on a Warehouse deal for ~$60. Its normal $100 asking price is a bit steep, but it's not too bad compared to its competitors and for what you get.
