So, how many of you moms out there have picky eaters? Hopefully nothing like the Peters kids in this book, but maybe like me, your kids have LOVED something one day (Siggi’s yogurt tubes…), and then the moment you stock up at Costco, they won’t touch it any more. Anyone? Anyway, you moms can probably relate to Mrs. Peters in more ways than one. And if you’re not a mom, you can read this and appreciate (or relate to) the hilarity in the pictures, as well as the wonderfully flowing verse. This is honestly a book that we don’t mind reading on repeat in our house, because it’s fun to read and funnier to look at! What adult out there doesn’t want to just throw a fit one day and then be able to sit back and play your cello while your children cook the next? (Swipe right for photos).

Extra bonus— this book ends with a birthday, so makes a great themed birthday present if you’re into that like I am!

Publishers recommend for ages 4-8, but our 3-year-old adores it, and I’m guessing older audiences would, too!
