A Gift-Wrapped Holiday Kindle Edition
After being ridiculed at the family business, Luca sets out to prove himself by opening an eco-friendly gift-wrapping store in a small town with a hard-on for Christmas that’s about as far from LA as he can get. Out of his comfort zone in snowy Maine, love is the last thing on his mind.
But the magic of the season has other ideas. As Mal and Luca collide on wintery streets, will they let their first Christmas in Lighthouse Bay lead to happily ever after?

About the author
Amy's lived with her head in the clouds since she first picked up a book as a child, and being fluent in two languages means she's read a lot of books! She first picked up a pen on a rainy day in fourth grade when her class had to stay inside for recess. Tales of treasure hunts with her classmates eventually morphed into love stories between men, and she's been writing ever since. She writes evenings and weekends—or whenever she isn't at her full-time day job saving the planet at Canada's largest environmental non-profit.
An unapologetic introvert, Amy reads too much and socializes too little, with no regrets. She loves connecting with readers. Join her Facebook Group to stay up-to-date on upcoming releases and for access to early teasers, find her on Instagram and Twitter, or sign up for her infrequent newsletter.

Once again, Amy Aislin managed to write a holiday romance that drew me in, even though I’m not yet in a holiday romance mood. Mal and Luca had just enough issues to keep me engaged without their romance getting overwhelmed by them. Both guys deal with their own but support the other, which always makes me happy (magic relationship that fixes all never works for me, even in a holiday romance). In addition, Luca’s history brings his brother into the story, which also leads to name-dropping for the next title, maybe (fingers crossed). Trivia Tuesday and the annual hockey tournament make appearances, as does Mika’s parents’ holiday lawn décor, bringing past couples in just enough to make it truly feel like a much-needed visit to a favorite holiday retreat.
Luckily for him, the small town people know how to make newcomers feel safe and one particular single dad takes notice immediately. Mal is kind of in the same shoes as Luca, as he moved back to Lighthouse Bay recently but the town is full of his family and he's ready to make the best of his son's, Otis's Christmas there. Mal works with his sister at their web design company that they were trying to build up with more clients. Luca and Mal meet when Otis needs a gift wrapped and leaves his father and mother who frantically look for him. They find him in Luca’s store and that’s where they see each other for the first time. There is an instant attraction, one that Mal hasn’t felt in many years, and when they run into each other again, he asks him out for a date. The story continues from there as they start to learn about each other and what they need for a relationship to work. For the first time Luca has found someone who sees the real him and wants to treat him as someone special. Mal has been trying to get over some traumatic things that have happened in his life and Luca helps him with themapped. All of this happens starting 23 days before Christmas and by Christmas they have fallen in love. I really enjoyed this book. Mal and Luca were wonderful characters who had different pasts that affected them but were able to meet each other’s needs in ways they didn’t think could happen. The side characters of Mal’s family were fun and interesting and Otis really added to the reality of a single dad dating for the first time and was often funny in what he did. Luca’s brother added some angst as well as happiness when he came to stay with him and tried to make up for how his family treated him as he was growing up.
Luca is from a wealthy family. He is the youngest of the kids but he is twelve years younger than the sibling closest in age to him. His parents had taken over the running of the family business and well Luca was an "oops baby" so his parent did not really have the time for him. Lucky for him he had his grandparents to raise him. But even that did not last long enough as he lost them when he was still young. He worked in the family business while in school and when he graduated he presented his new idea to the board of directors. That included his father and sister and they basically laughed him out of the room. SO Luca did what most would not do. He moved from Los Angeles to Maine, he bought a shop and he made happen on his own what he wanted for the family business.
Mal has moved back to Lighthouse Bay, Maine after his divorce and the loss of his job. He is following his ex-wife back to town but that had always been their plan. They just thought they would still be married. They have a young son Otis and he is now getting used to going between two houses. Mal will now be working with his sister and one of their new clients is Luca and his gift wrapping store. Mal had met Luca under the worst circumstances.... Otis had walked in and wanted to have the gift for his dad wrapped, but he left his father at the park and wandered into Luca's store. The fear that Mal had returned him to some bad times in his past...
Now that these two have met and realize that they are both available and looking can they see their way to each other? Will Mal ever explain to Luca about his past and his loss? Will Luca ever see his family again? Will Otis accept his father dating a man?
This book is wonderful. I know want to read the previous Lighthouse Bay trilogy to see where some of the character came from. I certainly hope there will be more.
