Gigabit fiber will (finally) be available in my neighborhood within 6 months. I am preparing my home network ahead of time. First I upgraded my desktop NIC to 802.11ax to support GB bandwidth. Next I bought this 6e router to handle the gig fiber speeds. I already have confirmed the desktop is communicating with the router on the 6 GHz frequency which is what I was aiming for. All that is left is to wait for my fiber to the premise to be installed and sign up for services. Can't wait! BTW, I have an 1,800 sq. ft. three floor house and I have zero issues with dead spots with this router. I also have around 25ish devices connected at any given time. I can also sit on my back patio or in the garage and have connectivity with no issues.

Upgraded from my Linksys MR9000 to a Linksys Hydra Pro 6E router. Took about 30 minutes total to remove old router, hook up new one and program the same WiFi name and a few static IP Adresses I needed for my Helium miner and Bitcoin node. No problems if you "know what you're doing". Didn't have to use tech support and that's the reason I gave 5 stars and the ease of setiing up. Don't look at the other 1 star reviews here. It's people that don't have any networking experience setting up linksys routers. If you have a problem, call tech support. That's what it's there for. Would recommend if you're looking to upgrade to 6E GHz network. Also, works great at 6GHz on my OnePlus 8T phone.

I've had it a month and it's fast but it does drop connections and has slow downs occasionally but that happens with wifi. Unfortunately, I don't have incoming fiber readily available and don't feel like paying a couple thousand dollars to get it run so that could be the main cause since I just have cable modem. The setup was really easy but the interface to configure it on my phone seems rather limited but most people wouldn't dig that deep into it.

The product sucked and Linksys sucked, even more, sums it up. You call and you get bounced around and even when determined that the product is defective, they want you to troubleshoot for days on end before replacing it. It took me 15-20 hours of phone calls with Linksys before they gave up and decided it is defective and the warranty should cover a replacement. Then apparently they don't trust their customers to return the defective device, so you MUST send the defective product into their warehouse at your own dime (of course unless you complain and spend an hour trying to find some supervisor who didn't wake up on the wrong side of the bed), before a replacement is shipped UPS ground... so basically, they're still stuck in the 90s when returning a defective product was a nightmare. NEVER EVER again buying anything from Linksys.

The signal strength is superb. Many devices can remain connected. User interface is smart phone based. No desktop browser used to connect to the router, which is a bit irritating.

I'm not sure who designs these for end users, but it's not a network engineer.
There is no longer the option to backup and restore config, and you can no longer tag your vlans per port, and make sure to press "apply" every so often when manually modifying the dhcp client table, else you lose everything with a "contact support" error (will add photo).
I may have been a bit premature in ordering this for production.
