Try wetting its base with water, letting it dry and then securing it to windscreen, pulling down the lever to lock it in place and letting it sit for 12 hours. A textured or slanted surface allows air to vent into it.

Crystal clear & easy to install
I am so impressed with this product! Thank you to those reviewers who said stop looking and just purchase this one! The monitor is crystal clear even when sunlight is shining directly on it. The night vision mode is also excellent. The whole thing was super easy to install, but I chose to purchase an air-conditioning vent cell phone holder to hold the monitor instead of mounting it on my dashboard. I was concerned about all the cords, but they tuck easily along the seat and floorboard/carpet cover that runs just inside the door, so you can't even see them. I did have to put the power cord underneath my floor mat, but I don't think that's an issue. It looks fantastic, works better than I could've hoped, and is so much safer than the mirror that I previously had because I was constantly having to cran my neck to see my granddaughter. Now a quick glance that doesn't require me taking my eyes off the road allows me to see her perfectly. Highly recommend! (I just went to order this for my daughter-in-law and saw that they offer a model with an air conditioning clip provided instead of the dash mount.)

The camera works exactly as it should! Night vision is great. The picture is clear. I love the zoom feature. When I had an issue, the company was quick to respond and help me get it resolved! Would definitely recommend!!

The quality of the video is crystal clear and I haven’t seen any lagging which is a must for me. This device totally beats those bulky mirrors where you have to turn your head to look.
I love that I can have the camera in a rear facing position and the forward facing position (all stages of my baby’s growth!) I’m excited to use this once my newborn arrives so I’ll be using it as read facing, gives me a piece of mind since I drive a lot to see family and the drive is long and I usually drive solo. For now I have it set as forward facing for my niece when she’s in the car which is nice.
It seems like the wiring length is a good length for when I can properly hide them once the weather is nicer (winter is not having me try to hide the wires right now lol) it looks like they’re very generous on the wiring length. I recommend this product to anyone who needs to see their tiny human passenger in the back! Great product!

The video quality is crystal clear and no lag at all. This beats those bulky mirrors where you have to turn your head to look.
Once my baby grows up, I will repurpose this camera to watch my dog :)
The wiring is long enough to install from the back of Ford F150 super crew to the front with about an extra 2 feet left. So they are very generous on the wiring.
