I got these as a gift. They appear to be well constructed and are not bad generally, but I was hoping for one of those really sharp knives that will stay sharp for a long time. I find the ones I use to need sharpening several times a week. I have only used the utility and paring knives, as I have a Japanese vegetable cleaver that outperforms any chef's knife I have ever used.

The product was delivered in great condition.  Amazing price to quality ratio, on a stunning set of knives.  I am extremely happy with this purchase!  You definitely get a nice knife set for the money.  Similar sets are at least twice as much for what this goes for.  Immediately out of the box, I tested out a few knives by cutting meat, carrots and some vegetables. They are sharp, smooth and cut very cleanly.  The handle is very stylish and comfortable in my hand.  I highly recommend this product.

I bought this set for my sister. I thought it was the one I own. I get mixed up very easily and make a lot of mistakes so it is my fault that I ordered the wrong set. It would have been too hard for me to return it so we kept it but I don't like it because the steak knives are serrated which I deplore. I wanted to be able to sharpen them. The knives are very heavy unlike mine and are too large for a woman with small hands to use. All I can do is tell it like it is and if someone with painful joints looks at this, they won't buy it because it is a bad set if you have painful hands and don't have big hands either. The paring knife was the only one that I liked. It was small, sharp and easy to handle.
