This is a great baitcaster combo for the price. It's on the flashy side being all blaze orange but it throws heavier lures very well. If you are new to baitcasters you may want to avoid the lighter lures at first to avoid backlashes. The brakes are not as nice as some of my more expensive reels but figured that (for the price). Only complaint it keeps catching these little bass!

The pole comes in a very long box, that is too wide for the pole. The very tip of the pole was broken off and not fixable. The biggest problem was I did not save the box it was Christmas time didn't want my husband to see the box. When returning I had to pay 26.00 for a new box. Just keep that in mind. No problem returning and getting a refund, just had to pay for the box.

I don't write these ever. But I must say. I have heard hit and miss in this brand, the quality and all.
But i must say I'm impressed.
I grabbed a 6 10 medium heavy fast action. The sensitivity on it is better than my previous setup. Its my first over 100 dollar combo. I am understanding more you get what you pay for. Casts wonderful and effortlessly, no backlash issues at all. And the fish fight on it is amazing.

I am a huge Lew's supporter and have 5 of their baitcasters. Ranging from aprox 90$ combos to 300$ combos. I would take this over my 300$ combo any day. It casts like butter and the distance is amazing. Took probably 5 minutes to dial it in with 15# fluro and a 3/8oz lure on it but once it has been dialed in I couldn't put it down.
