Product Description

One advice for your purchase

You get what you pay for. A Toyota doesn't drive like a Ferrari, but drives you around.

Hantek 6022BE doesn't support AC coupling per se, which could be easily worked around by using a capacitor on the end of the scope. However, it works with many 3rd party applications, including Openhantek, H-scope, and Openscope. Since Hantek 6022BE is PC based, it is convenient to take screenshots right away and share scope software output in a video conference.

Refer to Standard Comparison Chart below for more Hantek test equipment. Besides, Hantek has made HDG6112B sig gen providing stimulus signals in the form of AW, Pulse Patterns, Modulation, Intentional Distortion, Noise and more for serious electrical experimentation.

Note:

1) It works with Android via Openscope or H-scope, and Linux via Openhantek;

2) It can run on OSX through virtual box or virtual machine;

3) Try basic scope software, which might be better than the original source code.

4) Go to Hantek's Website to get the latest the driver, in case of the Win10 digital signature issue.

Don't bother, save up for a better scope and save yourself the headaches
I'll keep it simple. Its garbage. Many people say its not bad for the money but the problem is, you buy a scope to make measurements and visualize waveforms. If the scope can't do that accurately its pointless. Spent 3 months trying to track down an issue with a project that I was working on. Nothing made sense. Finally I plugged in an old used and abused Analog CRT scope and voila, there was the problem. The whole time the output was perfect, it was this Hantek that was reading it wrong.-NOT 20mhz bandwidth---anything close to or over 5mhz is wrong..not skewed just wrong. See pictures.-Included software is terrible, you need to use something like openhantek6022.-Trigger is 'meh' at best.-The included probes aren't terrible and will get you by if this is your first scope. You could always buy better probes later.-The sample rate is pretty bad and nowhere close to what would be needed for a 20mhz scope, its even pretty bad for its actual 5mhz limit.There are more issues but maybe I'll update later. If you are working on things that are sub 1 MHZ then MAYBE. The closer you get to its limits, the worse it gets.Pictures included show the ad9850 set to output at around 8mhz. The Hantek shows some distorted square wave, the old analog scope shows the proper sine without distortions.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great Entry Level or Beginner Scope!

Could not afford a $500 Siglent scope but my current USB Scope of 15 years was way too slow for what I needed to measure with my new "high frequency" (5 Mhz) transformer experiment. So I purchase a great entry level or beginner scope! The Hantek 6022BE 20 Mhz USB DSO. It works great and if you are Linux user I recommend trying the great "Open Hantek" Linux App made for the 6022BE. As well if you are an Android tablet user I recommend the most excellent "HScope" App which can be found at the Google Play store. And you can't go wrong by purchasing an HScope license for 18 dollars Canadian to make it fully functional. It has some great features!

All in all at around 80 dollars Canadian the Hantek 6022BE is a great choice for beginners or if you are like me and your very old USB Scope just won't work. It arrived quickly and its accuracy is spot on! I highly recommend this Scope for people who have never bought a scope and are new to electronics!
