Great shrink tubing. Very thick.
Overall this is great shrink tubing. It is very very thick. It takes some patience to get it to shrink down to the level of 1/3 the original diameter, but it gets there. I used it to armor a long cable so it was a bit more work.It helps if the wires are tight already, but it will compress them a little if you are patient.All in all great product.Edit: I had a little issue where I cut the shield a little short. Because I was shrinking down I had took to put it over the previously installed shrink tube. I cut a small piece and pulled it it. I was concerned it wouldn’t be watertight, so I added some glue . You you can see it in the picture, I needn’t have done. It pushed most of it out when shrinking down. I think it may have fused with itself. Great stuff.

Overall this product worked as advertised, it just took forever to shrink and didn't seal nearly as tight as I thought it would. It's probably better for heavier duty projects so if you're looking to fix or renforce your phone charger or something similar I would look elsewhere. 4 out of 5

I ordered this to fix my headphone and charger wire which my roommates cat almost chewed entirely through, it shrunk and adhered pretty well to the wider part of the headphone jack but didnt shrink enough around the rest of the wire. It also took ages to shrink and even longer to get it to shrink evenly. The end that didn't shrink enough also had glue come out the end and stick out weird, this also has almost no give once it's shrunk I didn't expect it to be super flexible but I thought it would have a little give. I don't think I'll end up Appling this to my charger since I need to fix a larger section and having no give is not ideal.Reviewed in the United States on March 16, 2024
