I thoroughly enjoyed this book, and I finished it in two days! SAINTS follows a band of Christians into the wilderness as they run from the government. The author clearly knows about outdoor survival, because there were a lot of great survival details in this book. I think she did a great job of balancing the everyday, mundane business of survival with the constant stress of being hunted. Every time I relaxed a little, something crazy happened! I loved the sweet romance between Max and Grace, and I look forward to following their story through the rest of the series. I also loved Joel and his pony. Bring on Book 2!

It's about a group of people who band together in the wilderness to survive Christian persecution. Regrettably it's been awhile since I read it and am just now getting a review in; so I don't recall many of the details. But I do remember that I felt a connection with the members of the group hiding out, and was happy that it's more than just a couple people against the world. A clean read with plenty of challenges and tough situations; but not so many that you didn't have breathers between them. I think I'll go read it again.

I won’t be a spoiler, but you can be certain that accurate Biblical prophecy is woven through out the story and Biblical values speak loudly through the characters. Can’t wait to see where these families are led in the rest of the series. I can get you that Grace and Max will lead us all into an exciting end times . . .

I was kind of disappointed in this book after I read her other series "Band of Believers". Those are the best. That is why I thought I would try this series. She is a good Author and this was an easy read. I am glad I read the other series first, otherwise, I probably would not read this whole book. I kept waiting for the intense action - but did not ever quite feel it in this book. Still it is a good book for all ages. It is just not as intense as the other series.
