Levi Finlay is best friend’s with Nick who has been abusing his relationship with a really great woman but Levi can’t tell her b/c his loyalty belongs to Nick. Right? Danielle wants things to go back to the way they were when she and Nick first got together and before he started working on Wall Street. Every time Nick and Danielle have a blow up, Nick calls Levi in to “fix” things. Over time he becomes attracted to her or have his feelings been there longer? What does Nick do when he senses there is a change in Danielle’s relationship with Levi?
Oh my, I loved this book. When she realizes the good thing she has in Levi, things get very interesting and steamy. So much happens and Nick is a big part of the bad that happens. It gets really dicey when Danielle finds out that Levi knew all about Nick’s philandering. She has decisions to make. Simply loved Levi’s declaration to Danielle at the end of chapter 20 and into 21. Just when things appear to become stable in their relationship, another shoe drops and this happens to be a really big one. This poor couple go through quite a bit of angst before they get to their HEA. There are so many pointers I would love to share but I want the reader to see for themselves. This is one great read!

It was a good story. A bit predictable at times. Levi was a good H. He was a bit soft at times, but nothing too over the top. Only issue was if your friend is that big of a douche you would tell the girl. Bro code or not that was just too flimsy an excuse.
Danielle was a bit less of a relatable character. I found her as too much of a doormat. She kept acting like everything was just happening to her. Like she wasn't a participant in her own life. Every time Nick showed up and assaulted her shedid nothing about it but meekly sit by. How about being your own advocate?! Not to mention she kept agreeing to hear him out like that would help him stop coming around. It was obnoxious and weak. Then when she was with Mia she claims she is so strong? Really? You had nothing but a meager bank account and your clothes because you depended on a guy for all of your adult life and you think you are strong and self-sufficient? The whole idea that she had nothing of her own was ridiculous and not at all the kind of lead female that is worthy of being called strong. And what happened to the restraining order? Its like it just became a non-issue.
The final chapter was supposedly from Danielle's pov and suddenly between paragraphs it shifted to being Levi. There were several distracting editing errors throughout that need to be dealt with.
It was a decent story. Not great, not terrible. Just middle of the road.

This book was great! I love this series because it keeps all the friends together and helping each other find love. Levi was a great friend to Nick and Dani, a co-worker, since college. But Nick started changing and being a fool. Levi got angry at how bad Nick was treating Dani and him that he decided to cut ties with Nick and help Dani get away from Nick. Levi didn't expect that he would bring up old feelings for Dani that he can't stop. So much drama before Levi and Dani get there happy ever after. I enjoyed this book but I have a few questions what happened to Nick? It was like he just fell off the planet. I'm glad the baby turned out to be ok and I really felt bad about the pregnancy I went through something similar but not as bad. I'm just glad they got the happiness they deserve.

They have been together 6 years, but the relationship falls apart when she catches him with a red head. Calls at Levi’s in tears, she has nowhere to go and hasn’t money to go to a hotel so he takes her in as he has a spare bedroom, (Levi has been in love with her since College). Nick keeps ringing her and wants to talk, says he loves her and its all a mistake. She goes to pick her clothes and finds him in bed with a women and he still insists he is in love with her!! Then the stalking begins, the Police are involved, a couple of twists in the story but well worth the read.

Such a beautiful, yet well written and intricately woven storyline. What Levi wanted, he knew he couldn’t have, in his heart and mind, he knew, was forbidden, but the heart wanted, what the heart wanted, and what he wanted was Danielle, she knew it too, and in the end they couldn’t deny the inevitable.

Denying there attraction to one another was hard, but when they came together it was electrifying. The truths, the lies, that lead to the past colliding with the present, the emotional turmoil that Levi and Danielle experienced was raw as it was powerful, it was fast paced, exhilarating, the twists and turns, how they tested each other’s resolves before finally giving into their desires.

And those bedroom scenes were very intimate, hot, raw, powerful, passionate, deliciously dirty, oh so steamy, wicked, beautiful, hot, wet and wild, and there happily every after was heartbreakingly beautiful. This authors knows how to write and have her readers coming back for more!
