TL;DR - 4.5/5 Easy to use, decent quality webcam that will more than suffice for zoom/skype calls.
--Pros--
1) Ease of Use
The best thing about this webcam has to be how easy it is to use. You just plug it in to a usb port on your computer and it automatically connects. No software or finicky business required. If it doesn't automatically pop up in Zoom, then you might need to click on the tab next to the camera, and select the "USB 2.0 Camera"
2) Video Quality
The quality of the webcam is pretty good. It should be more than good enough for your average workplace zoom call during quarantine and could be used for streaming on twitch if you wanted to. Colors obviously are not super accurate, but there isn't any red/blue tint that I can see. One thing to note is that the field of view is more narrow compared to a normal laptop webcam, so if you attach this right on top of your laptop screen, your face will fill up the entire frame. It will work perfectly fine attached to a monitor or on the tripod that is included.
3) Privacy Cover
The little privacy cover that goes over the webcam is great when you are not using it, means that you don't need to unplug the webcam if you are privacy conscious. (Although there is no way to make sure that the microphone is off)
4) Microphone Quality
Suprisingly, the included mic on the webcam is actually pretty good. There is a bit of static noise, but it is honestly better than a lot of laptop microphones which sound like you are speaking underwater. Your voice sounds clear, and people will definitely be able to hear you.
--Cons--
1) The tripod
The tripod mount for me was not very well built. Some of the black coating(?) on the outside flaked off onto my fingers. I don't think that this is a dealbreaker though because the actual stand works fine, and even if you don't want to use the included stand, the webcam uses a 1/4" screw which means that you can switch out the tripod stand for your own.
Miscellaneous:
The play pause feature that they advertise works, but I'm not really sure how useful it will be since people will definitely notice if you are just frozen.
Overall, I think that it is a suprisingly good webcam at $70 because a lot of the logitech webcams are super inflated in price right now and this is pretty much the same quality for much cheaper.
