Exactly what I was looking for!
I feel like- if I'm gonna dirty up dishes I'm gonna go ahead & make a BUNCH. Something for now & refrigerate/freeze for later 🤓 big brain LOL. I am loving this griddle! I've used it a dozen times or more. You can see- my french toast & pancakes are all pretty even. Other reviewers did mention & I ran across it too- an ugly pattern on the food because of the texture of the cooking surface. People, it says 100x's IN THE DESCRIPTION that it's a textured surface & it's for nonstick purposes! To avoid this- I greased the surface with a big ole blob of butter, 😋 YUM, & look how pretty mine came out 💗!!! The butter was NOT necessary for nonstick purposes but only because YUM & it makes the food look better. I do rotate things around while it's cooking- restaurant cooks in the family, restaurants do the same- rotate food on the flat top & on the grill. All that crud on the pic in the sink, sausage patties. It came off in 3 seconds with a rag, Dawn & hot water. As far as the nonstick- you have to use your finger or a fork to kinda hold the food still to be able to get a spatula up under it because the food will slide & you'll chase it all over the cooktop, if it doesn't go over the side! 😂 No, food doesn't stick- that's without butter too. I've done scrambled eggs a few times- I would definitely butter 1st. Add butter while warming up not after hot or it will spit & splatter like crazy. I didn't let it get hot enough 1st- I lost a bit to the drip tray. The drip tray falls out very easily but is functional. The only truly negative thing I can say is this griddle gets HOT all around the outside edges & the plug. I would not want kids around it! This is not an issue for me- but parents of little ones should be aware 💗. Also, be aware- bacon, sausage & butter are 3 things I have found that will COVER your counter tops & floor in grease splatter. I stand on an old towel & cover things with dish/paper towels. It just takes a second, so it's not a problem, for me. Storage- this thing is huge! I didn't think I would mess with it- but I do take the handles off to store it..& it still sticks out. The handles are SUPER EASY to get off & on. When I put it up- I lay a clean dish towel over the cook surface & set the plug, handles & drip tray on top then it is precariously sat atop a pile of other stuff 😂. I love this griddle! When it one day poops out I will definitely have to have another!

5.0 out of 5 stars Best griddle we've ever had
Reviewed in the United States on April 30, 2019
We have owned a number of electric griddles over the years. They've all had hot spots, and the nonstick finish never held up, even though I always handwash them with gentle scrubbers. My husband does most of the cooking, and he uses the griddle for all sorts of things, including eggs, pancakes, bacon and sausage, and hash browns. So he gets to see how they perform under a variety of heat conditions, and with different requirements for oil lubrication of the griddle's surface.

We have been happy with our ceramic pots and pans, so when it came time to replace our griddle, I looked at the ceramic options, and found that the best reviewed ceramic griddle at the time was the Presto 07062 Ceramic 22-inch Electric Griddle with removable handles. It also happens to have a great price. So I bought it.

My husband has used this griddle a lot for the past two months, and every time he uses it, he comments on how much better it is than any griddle we've ever had. It is true that there is a visible mark on the top of the griddle where the heating ring runs around the underneath — it's kind of a loss of the ceramic sheen, not really a discoloration. It does not affect the cooking at all; it will just never look new-out-of-the-box again. So we don't care about that.

There is a very distinct diamond pattern texture to the entire surface. I wondered whether this would catch particles and bake them into a hard crust that would be difficult to clean, but that fear was entirely unfounded. This griddle cleans up so easily! See the photo with this review. It shows both the diamond pattern and the only two scrubbers I ever use to clean the griddle — a plastic scrubbing ball and a nail brush (for fingernails). After sudsing off the surface of the griddle with the scrubbing ball, I give it a light rinse and then use some of the leftover suds to run diagonally across the griddle in both directions with the nail brush. This gets anything out in the low places of the diamond texture. It is really very quick, and quite effective. I never have to use elbow grease. Even tough, cooked-on food comes off easily.

MOST IMPORTANT: Do not EVER use nonstick spray with ceramic surfaces! It can't withstand the heat, and becomes a super sticky residue that is nearly impossible to get off. We discovered this with our regular ceramic-coated pots and pans. On ceramic surfaces, only use high temperature oils — we usually use butter on the griddle. This griddle doesn't need any oil at all on pancakes (or, obviously, bacon & sausage); for eggs, we use just a tad of butter and smear it onto the part of the griddle that we will be using for the eggs.

And finally, we have found the drip tray to be more than large enough to hold all the grease that flows from six slices of bacon.

I would definitely recommend this griddle with no hesitation.

I am in massive fan of griddles in general. So when mine broke a few months ago I felt very lost.
I'm glad I found this one and I'm in love!

First of all, the size of it is perfect for big family. It's the largest one I could find.

Secondly, it's got a bumply surface! That means the oil or butter I put on, doesn't run all over the place or pool in one spot.

Thirdly, the feet are removable for easy storing, cleaning and travel.
And this is going to be incredibly helpful for when we are camping. I can take the feet off and put the griddle directly onto my stove top in the RV!

I'm a massive fan of this and I highly recommend.
