I don't regret the purchase even with some complaints

I don't regret the purchase even with some complaints
Okay, my 4 year old absolutely loves this board. I have a few minor complaints that obviously don't slow him down any but am going to start with the good stuff.....These are well made and durable with bright colors, letters and a sturdy accompanying board. The pictures under each letter are clear for the most part there are a couple where I was like, really? why would you opt for that picture on a kids board? Should my 4 year old be able to identify that? "Hey Tom(husband) can you tell me what this is and if Grayson should know it too?" Some just seemed like they could have been made simpler I guess. (maybe that should have been put with the complaints... sorry, I ramble ya know). But the letters stay in their respective spaces and some, as discovered by Grayson, you can even put in their spaces backwards and they still fit! What craziness is this!?!?!?! He thought that was pretty awesome.Now. For my overall minor complaints outside of some of the pictures chosen:1. The pieces are super thin. They are hard to get out of their spots without just flipping the board and letting them go everywhere. This does seem to be more of an issue for my husband and myself than the kid. Minor but still irritating.2. There are several pieces that are near impossible, even to an Alphabet -seasoned eye, to tell which letter it actually is. The letters will only fit in their designated spot so there really shouldn't be any 2 or 3 or 5 letters so close that you can't tell them apart. The lower case 'i' and lowercase 'l' are the simplest to discern but only because of the very-faint-but-there recessed ridge near the 'dot'. The 'b', 'd', 'p' and even 'q'? OMG! all 3 of us will have to try each letter in each spot. Now I know that you may be looking at the picture and saying "goodness, she does know that each letter set are colored coded right?" but please trust me. When you have a pile of 52 letters and there are very few, if any other letters on there, or perhaps just none of the Capital letters yet as a reference for what color lowercase letter you are looking for it is like, Seriously???Overall my son is happy, ecstatic even and loves to show everyone his new "puzzle", asking me to play with him a dozen times a day. My complaints in the big scheme of things really are minor. Would still highly recommend this product to anyone with a kid or kids or nieces or nephews or grand-kids, well you get the idea. My complaints are good to be aware of but far from a reason to not purchase this set.
