As "empty nesters" I have found that these 6" pans are perfect for little cakes and other smaller recipes. I purchased these because I like how stainless steel holds up overall. They are not extremely heavy but they work ok. The edge is just a bit sharper than I like but again, not a deal breaker. I know that aluminum works better when combined with Stainless Steel, but SS cleans much easier and lasts better overall. I don't put my bakeware in the dishwasher but I hand wash them to have them last longer. These are not always easy to clean even after soaking and I am careful with my bakeware.

I don't use these alone, I put a round parchment liner in them before baking in them. So the people who did poor reviews due to non-stick surface doesn't really hold up. Stainless Steel is not known for being non-stick if you don't prepare the surface properly so I don't count that against the product.

When I received them and they were smaller than I thought ( I thought I had ordered 8"), I was happy because they are the perfect size.

They take up a bit of space because they don't stack well, but that is to be expected. Overall, they are ok. Could they be better? Yes. But for the price, they work fine.

I am a baker, and I had used these pans to bake cakes. I don't usually use shiny metal for cake but I figured I would see how they performed as I needed them super short notice and fairly cheap. I am so impressed!! The bake appears to be even and thorough, there wasn't so much conduction on the sides as to burn them, and with a cooking spray the cakes came out very easily. HOWEVER: I do use wax paper circles on the bottom of every one of my cakes to ensure they come out, and I also spray them with this vegetable oil spray that I get at costco. I just have to make sure that the corners on the bottom of the pans are thoroughly sprayed and covered with wax because I did lose just a tiny chunk of cake off each one.
