We used our small pan for things like eggs, and since we had bigger version from EOE with the same concept non-stick honeycomb design, we thought this would work for us.
Unfortunately we were disappointed.
The good: It is very durable and very easy to clean.
The bad: It sticks. Eggs, potatoes, onions; they all stick.
We probably should have stayed with the other company and spend a little more.
Update: I hope that maybe the pan needed some more time to be seasoned, or maybe we were not waiting enough time for it to heat up. Nope, its just bad quality. I would have added pictures of how it looked after my last attempt to make an omelette. In short, everything stuck. Instead I have a comparison between this pan, and a different one that actually works. Eggs got stuck, did not cook evenly and fell apart. The other pan worked perfectly.

The reason I was interested in this pan is because I wanted an every-day non-stick frying pan that could go into the dishwasher, and one that didn't have any harmful chemicals in the non-stick coating. That is very difficult to find! I initially tried this pan a few years ago and although I was happy with its performance, the non-stick coating would separate from the pan after a short time. Frieling actually listened to my issues and worked with me to replace the pan, and they recently sent me the newest version to try. It appears they have completely resolved the issue of the coating separating from the pan.
As for performance, I am really pleased with the pan - it fries up burgers, fried eggs, sauteed veggies, etc., and then goes straight into the dishwasher. I believe you can use metal utensils in the pan because of the stainless steel being raised up higher than the non-stick coating; however, I still use only silicone in the pan to keep it in its best condition. The non-stick performance is excellent; however, don't expect it to work like a traditional non-stick pan. Because of the stainless steel, you need to make sure you have at least a light coating of oil or fat in the pan for your food not to stick. If you will be disappointed because you can't put an egg in a dry pan and have it slide out, then this isn't the pan for you. But I haven't had any issues with food sticking as long as I use oil or fat, and it is certainly much better than an all stainless pan.
The folks are Frieling couldn't be any nicer or more helpful; they genuinely care about their customers' happiness, which seems rare these days, and they definitely stand behind their warranty!
I attached some photos of some beautiful fried eggs, and some smashed potatoes - microwave baby potatoes until tender; smash and fry in your pan with ghee (or your fat of choice), add sea salt and fry until crispy on outside - so yummy!

Strengths
- It's easy to clean. Water and a sponge will do the trick every time.
- Anything that sticks while cooking usually comes off with a scraping motion from your spatula.
- Heat transfers well. Things do cook easily and quickly.
- It's tough. I haven't damaged it with a metal spatula
Weaknesses
-Scrabbled eggs stick terribly. You lose a third of them to the pan. They scrap off relatively easily, but not until the stuck part is too over cooked to be desirable
-It doesn't brown things well at all. Steaks don't brown much. Potatoes crips well, but the crispy part comes off the potato and remains in the pan. Any browned bits will stick to the pan and come of your food. It's the perfect pan for a deglazed pan sauce, but not for what you'd put it on.
So how to really qualify this pan is difficult. It basically lives in that area where a pan works well enough so you don't want to get rid of it, but not well enough that you don't periodically look for a different pan to use.
