Took a chance on this little chair and it’s perfect! It might feel unstable but if you’re rocking around in it, then you can damage it. It’s meant for sitting your butt down. I’ve sat for several hours in it, and I like the support. The cushion is just as thick as a padded house bar stool. The back support sits right in the middle of my back so I can sit up comfortably without my back hurting.
The chair is lightweight so if you stand up quickly, it will fall backwards. Not a big thump though. It also has a small foot bar to put my feet on. The chair locks in place with a small device and it stays put until you pull it to fold the chair. I HAVE moved side to side in the chair and it seems like it’s going down, but it doesn’t. Just felt strange since I haven’t sat in a little chair like that.
It fits great with the small desk that I reviewed too. Sit your butt down and the chair will last.
