The appearance is great. You'll need to take it to a luthier to get it set up right. The sound out of the box is not good. You should order D'Addario soft strings to be delivered with your mandolin. Unlike an electric guitar that's not plugged in, this instrument can be played well accoustically.

Good: cheap and a good practice mandolin you can travel with.
Bad: Tuners are sloppy, Horrible pickup needing a LOT of gain to get any sound with constant loud buzzing and noisy knobs.

If you need a cheap mandolin, save some money and get the acoustic only version.

Whoa, this baby is gorgeous! We were planning to polish it up when we got it. It looks kind of lax luster in the pics. Not so, the pics don't do it any justice because it is extremely high gloss. Seriously this baby is very pretty. I would venture to say it's one of the cleanest looking and sounding Mandolins out there. To us, it's the best! Now, what's she sound like, superb! Hooked to an Amp or not. Easy to tune and then play away. There's nothing to knock on this Stagg Mandolin. Strings are great for now. Will upscale later on though. Oh, thank you folks for getting her to us in such a jiffy. Much appreciated indeed. Two days to our door, that's service with a bang! We call her Ruby. All of our instruments have names. We have a Washburn guitar we named Geronimo, just saying, lol. Happy trails to you.

Nice mandolin

I understand that with this new, or any new stringed wooden instrument-playing it daily- you need to tune the strings. The strings need time to stretch. It gets better each day. I’m beginning to feel this instrument, it’s quirks.
Maybe it’s learning mine. But I can’t say how much I’m enjoying this mandolin. I bought a violin several months ago but felt frustrated learning it. So I decided to get this mandolin because the open strings are the same as a violin. I’ve learned some pick songs on mandolin - and wow! I can play the same songs on the violin! Nice! I say get this mandolin. Learn a few scales. Learn a few songs. Let your finger tips build up a callous through daily playing. But if you just want to sound good right out of the box and have some fun-tune the open mandolin strings to AEAE. Normal open strings are GDAE. I really like this mandolin!

Et bien franchement c'est plus que correct !
Le rapport qualité prix est parfait.
Ça sonne, les finitions valent 9/10, et le micro fait le job.
En conclusion cette mandoline est parfaite pour les débutant et intermédiaire.
En revanche il lui manque un meilleur micro pour la scène.

Ho acquistato questo mandolino elettrico in Amazon Warehouse Deals, e devo dire che per il prezzo sono ampiamente soddisfatta. Di certo non è uno strumento di fascia alta, dunque ha qualche normale pecca tecnico/armonica, ma nel complesso è innanzitutto esteticamente sufficientemente rifinito ed è fornito di cavo per essere attaccato all'ampli. La Stagg è una casa produttrice di strumenti di un certo rispetto dunque speravo in un minimo di qualità anche se si tratta di un mandolino economico per principianti, e sono soddisfatta della scelta, tutto considerato. Le corde sono un pochino ossidate, ma facilmente reperibili per un cambio, nel complesso però lo strumento non ha un graffio ed è arrivato puntuale, dunque ne consiglio l'acquisto comunque. Sul sito del produttore/venditore ufficiale sono reperibili tutti i ricambi e su youtube si possono vedere interessanti tutorial di professionisti che lo suonano e recensiscono, per cui ci si può documentare bene anche se non esperti.

Il primo Stagg M-30 mi è stato recapitato praticamente rotto, il ponte era spezzato compromettendo di fatto tutto lo strumento, tuttavia l'ottimo servizio sostitutivo mi ha permesso di restituirlo il giorno seguente e riceverne uno nuovo entro pochi giorni senza costi aggiuntivi.
A distanza di qualche settimana posso affermare come il rapporto qualità/prezzo si sia rivelato estremamente positivo, con il passare dei giorni la tensione delle corde è diminuita e la suonabilità è migliorata, ovviamente parliamo pur sempre di uno strumento economico adatto a principianti.
Unica cosa, il ponte ad arco è mobile, quando arriva dovete regolarlo, non solo in altezza, ma anche spostandolo sopra e sotto oppure non vi troverete mai con la corrispondenza delle ottave.

Tras ajustarla suena decente

Vamos a analizar la mandolina:
PROS:
Desde mi punto de vista es muy bonita, una mezcla entre estilo clásico y moderno (no quería las típicas F). Los acabados son medio decentes, el tono rojizo es más bonito que el amarillo. Stagg es más conocida que una marca China, luego sin ser la panacea será más fácil de vender cuando necesites una más avanzada.
CONTRAS:
Cuando la afinas la acción en los primeros trastes son muy duros, luego hay que bajarla, la cejuela viene pegada (y es plástico) luego hay que usar lima de huecos de cejuela. El puente hay que modificarlo elevando las dos cuartas cuerdas por encima del resto (con su rueda). De la cejuela al traste 12 hay 17.50 cm y de este al puente podemos dejar 17 cm ya que a 17.50 cm cerdea algo. Luego tras los ajustes se convierte en algo muy tocable (sin los ajustes es bastante dura).
RESUMEN: si realizas los ajustes adecuados suena bien, teniendo en cuenta que es laminada y no maciza. Relación calidad-precio tras los ajustes buena. Dejo fotos de los ajustes, por si os sirve de algo.

Mandoline de très bonne qualité - Le PLUS, le son, la manipulation, le poids.
Le MOINS, pas de médiator livré avec une mandoline, c'est aberrant !!! , les cordes n'étaient pas installées.
