This product is pretty but not worth the price. This should be 5 dollars at the least. It came late and it looks like a magazine I could of bought it at an airport for 3 to 5 dollars. It is not worth the price. I wouldn't of returned it if it was 5 dollars and not 20.

This is an absolutely beautiful and brilliant book and a MUST for every songwriter or even that person with a song in their heart. Sarah Sheppard combines beautiful photos with word prompts that get the songwriter's creative juices flowing...in fun and clever ways. If you're not a songwriter...it's a beautiful book for the coffee table...but warning, even you may be tempted to pick up a pen and write a hit song! This is a very pretty book. However, I was a little disappointed. The prompts are not all that unusual, and they are spaced out in a way that, although pretty, is not really necessary. I would have liked a more condensed book.

Love this... As one who writes songs, I hadn't written to prompts before, be they, word lists, settings, or titles... I just wrote what I felt and then worked it into a song.

This book gives you 3 areas to look at and explore as a writer:

Word Sets
Settings
and Titles

Plus ways to mix it up so you won't get bored.

Not every book is for everyone, but, I find that I'll have many songs coming out of ideas from this book...
