I love how convenient and comfortable this shirt is. The material is soft and not itchy. It keeps you warm but not overly hot. My only complaint is it doesn’t really keep you all the way covered up while you are trying to latch your baby since the top layer is kind of short. Once you get your baby latched it’s easy to position it so that your breasts are not exposed.

I found joymom while looking for nursing tips after my last pregnancy. It’s a totally different season than my last so I had nothing to wear for nursing in the colder months. This was sooo comfortable and easy for access but still made me feel cute and not frumpy. I am not the biggest fan on the cut on the nursing flap area because it just doesn’t blend in and doesn’t look seamless like some other options, but I will take comfort of this over anything else for sure! This shirt has a few things going for it. It is a flattering cut, the sleeves are long enough for a medium tall woman, I love the color (kind of a happy medium between coral and terracotta), and it works very well for breastfeeding! Don’t even really have to use a cover when baby is latched. For reference I’m 5’7” and 150 lbs currently. It hits my hips at the right spot and nicely hides my 3-month-postpartum pooch.

The main drawback is that the fabric has pilled somewhat. Not tight pills, but the fabric has not retained the original lovely smooth appearance and feel. If it weren’t for this I’d give it 5 stars. Still very wearable after several washes though.

This sweater is wonderful! It isn’t too heavy, but it keeps you warm on a cooler day (50s to 60s for me). The flap isn’t connected to the front of the shirt, so I can easily reach up to unhook a nursing bra without another step. The one hole to feed from is large enough to shift breasts as needed while feeding. As a bonus, if your baby is still on the younger side, and you’re a little shyer like myself, the flap pretty much covers up my baby’s head and my chest while she eats. As for fit, I love it. I’m a size 18 pants, usually an X-large in t-shirts. I got the X-large, and it’s slightly baggy, sits below my belt line (about halfway down my butt), and it flatters my tummy. The chest area is the same, just enough slack to be comfortable and easy to move in, but I am a smaller-chested woman, like a B-cup while nursing. So I don’t know how this will fit a woman with a larger cup size.
