I am writing this for anybody who has a dog, goes to the beach, works construction, has kids, camps, or lives in a rural area.
I bought two of these after seeing it on some fund me "5 coolest camp gadgets" video after a long search on the internet for Christmas gift ideas. Gave them each to active, elderly couples. One lives on a ranch and always works with equipment, tools, etc. I figured to rinse equip, hands, boots while out in the barn. The other recipients live in town, but keep up a large property with rentals and constantly do yard/garden work. Dragging a long hose from several spickets and walking to turn on/off while watering plants seemed impractical. The garden folks pushed it on me when I was visiting on my way to go camping one day, still in the package. They said it was a waste, it being so nice but not being used. I amounted this to them fearing it was difficult and technical to use, but there is not much to it. So I took the unused Christmas present in March to a beach campground with my dog. I liked it so much, I decided not to give them a tutorial on how easy it is and gladly kept it.I keep it in my truck bed tool box,I use it nearly every day for: dirt/mud/dog crap off boots before getting in the truckwhen or even rinse and leave outside the house so I don't have to walk back from the spicket in dirt or socks, rinsing off rubber floor mats in car, clean hands before I get in truck, rinsing garden/dirt tools/buckets to store or transport, my feet/dog/gear after a hike or beach walk(avoiding sand in truck and traumatizing my little dog in a violent beach foot-shower by using mist setting), mist setting just propped up in front yard on a hot day for quick cool down, filling dog or cat's bowl without carrying bunch of water bottles or detaching hose to avoid thatHose taste/smell, blast cob webs or grime off any outdoor project, send a stream across a 20 ft yard to barking dog for some quiet, rinsing porch or sidewalk, washing dishes/equipment when camping, maybe some day for an emergency like heat exhaustion or a small accidental fire? It's great anytime you usually would drag a hose, container with no pressure, or where water simply isn't available.Last week, no lie I got off the 680 freeway in Northern California before a toll bridge to grab some cash. I saw a guy broke down. On my way back he wasn't there, I was gonna stop and ask if he needed tools or help. He had made it on the toll bridge halfway across, ironically in the rain, with an overheating car. He had just bought it privately, was halfway home with a bad radiator. I'm not saying I fixed his car. But he was in the middle of a couple mile long bridge, out of extra water with a steaming car. I was able to give him a gallon and a half in the blink of an eye to at least limp to a fuel station for free water and shelter. Bam.This thing is awesome, it has come in handy daily, and saved the day a several times. It takes two minutes to fill, has different pressure settings for animals or tough dirt, it's relatively light (water weighs 7lbs/gal), doubles as a seat camping or at beach, has great pressure, and if you wanted you could even change the spray nozzle but you'd probably run out faster, or keep nozzle off if you need to fill a bucket with a convenient quick-coupler design. The only downsides are that it's pretty much impossible to use all water without tipping or unscrewing drain cap (Science), and without drilling a hole there is no way to lock lid closed or secure it from being stolen. The lid hinges slide apart. Rinse kit, this is your que. 100% real and stoked testimonial.

UPDATE 8-2016: very shortly after posting my initial review below a wonderful person in Customer Service named Hannah reached out to me. She was quick, friendly and immediately shipped me a new RinseKit along with a label to send mine back that was having problems, so that they can study it and make any necessary improvements to the design in the future. The whole process took less than a week (and most of that time was her waiting for me to respond with my details).

I am highly impressed, this was better quality and faster customer service than Nordstrom, REI, Apple, Costco... you name it, and from a seemingly small sized company. Talk about standing behind your product with a friendly smile and the right attitude.

If I could give this Hannah and RinseKit 6 stars I would!

Previous Review:

This thing worked great at first and I really came to use it in my regular routine of rinsing dive gear. Then later it started to retain more and more water that I can only assume means less comes out to rinse off my gear. At this point it seems like there's nearly a gallon of water that doesn't ever come all the way out, meaning even when "empty" the sucker is pretty heavy.

It's a great idea and worked really well for a little while, I just wish it lasted longer because at this price it's not like I'm going to keep replacing it with a new one.

I feel bad too because while mine was working great I convinced a half dozen fellow divers to get one. Now if/when theirs start to wear out I kind of will feel responsible.

To simply put it, Awesome!! This is probably the coolest thing ever! I surf, go to the beach, clean coolers, wash car, etc... in places that don't offer a hose. The instructions are listed inside the lid and it's super easy.

Instructions:
Put the blue handle on the opposite side of the blue clasp
Pull out the hose
Make sure the black lever is in the closed/locked position
Pop off the spray nozzle
Screw in the nozzle attachment on your sink, spout, or water spigot
Pop the hose into the nozzle attachment
Open the black lever
Turn ON water for 20-25 seconds
Turn OFF water
Make sure the black lever is in the closed/locked position until actual use
Unplug the hose from the nozzle attachment
Plug the spray nozzle back on
Unscrew the nozzle attachment and put EVERYTHING back into the box
That's it, now you have about 4 minutes on low pressure and about 1.5 mins on high pressure.

The best part is that you're using physics to pressurize and depressurizing your water from the source's water pressure.

Other products out there require some mechanism to pressurize the system and requires batteries and whatnot. This unit requires you to have a water spigot and nothing rusts since it's plastic. Again, awesome build, awesome ingenuity, awesome product, and awesome price!

pretty cool, great for portability ... doesn't REALLY last as long as the4 minutes they claim, but the pressure is decent for about 2 minutes. Plenty for what I need, but don't think you could use it as a real outdoor shower .. it's good for rinsing after surfing or swimming at the beach

5.0 out of 5 stars Plenty of water in an easy portable form!
Reviewed in the United Kingdom on February 18, 2020
Purchased due to local reports of Alabama Rot, as the risk to pets is supposed to be reduced by rinsing off mud after walks.

The unit contains enough water to rinse off two medium-large dogs, and two pairs of wellies, so does what it needs to do for us. Easy to fill from an existing outdoor water source (uses the same tap fitting as Hozelock systems) in around 20-30 seconds.

Easy to carry when full - about the same weight as a full picnic basket.
