聞いたことないメーカーですが
半信半疑レビューが高かったので購入してみました。
商品の画像はとてもチープな感じで耐久性とか大丈夫なのかとか、
音がちゃんと出るのか、ノイズは大丈夫なのかなど、いろいろ心配していました。
届いた商品は、とても質感も見た目もよく満足しています。
windows環境で使用しています。
ドライバはサイトからダウンロードするようにマニュアルに書いてありました。
アドレス打ち込んでダウンロードしてインストール。
動作は極めて安定しています。驚きました。
本体のサウンド設定から、24bit,192KHzに変更
PC内臓のものとは全く音が違います。
気持ちがいい、バランスの取れた音です。
こんな高音質のDACがこの値段で買えるというのは衝撃です。
おまけ程度と思っていた本体のボリュームボタンも問題なく機能しています。
買ってよかった。とてもおすすめの商品です。
追記
iphone6sにapple純正 Lightning - USBカメラアダプタを接続し検証を行いました。
カメラアダプタとコネクタの形状がほぼ同じで一体感がありとてもいいです。
問題なく動作しており、ボリューム最大に設定しても動作しました。
windows環境にて、起動した状態で、機器を再接続した際など192KHzの設定が解除されていることがありました。
接続した状態で起動すれば問題ないようです。
またこのDACを接続するとwindowsのボリューム設定が最大になります。
DACについているボタンを使って調整していく仕様のようです。
iphoneに接続する際もiphoneの音量を最大にして使用しています。
音質が良くとても満足しています。

音質は確かに良くなるのだが、イヤホンによってはホワイトノイズが気になる。自分の手持ちとは合わなかった。熱を持つのも少し気になり、音量調整がスイッチ式でパッと見どっちに調整するのかわからないのとデフォルトが音大きめなのがマイナス点。

ZenFone2とHFplayerとでUSBドライバを有効にする。
OTGケーブルが必要ですが・・・・。
192kHz/24bit
DSD NATEVE 256再生可能でした。
もちろん通常音源のアップサンプリングもOKでした。
音は非常にクリアで３万円ぐらいのDACと変わりません！！
パソコン環境ではドライバーが必要です。説明書に記載ありあります。
WINDOWS10 PRO ソフトはfoobar2000で動作OKです。

この商品は１個で￥ 6,400ですが、2個注文して購入をお勧めします。2個で￥ 6,400になるので1個￥ 3,200です。
これは非常に安い！！！！
コストパフォーマンス抜群の商品です。

追記
Pioneer XDP-100R-Kと接続してDSD NATIVE　再生OK
音も抜群で他のポタアンみたいにかさ張らなくて良いです。

iPhone 7 Plus + iOS 10.3 + MD821ZM/Aでは、1分ぐらい使えた後に「このアクセサリーは使用できません」と表示されて使用できません。
MD821ZM/Aの代わりにMK0W2AM/Aを繋ぐと使用できました。しかし持って歩くには難ありです。使う気になれません。
いかにもMD821ZM/Aで利用できるかのような画像を付けて売り続けることには売り手の手抜きとしか思えません。いつまでも古いiPhoneを使い続ける人などそう多くはいないのですから。
今後は最新のiPhoneでは画像のとおりには使えませんと明示してください。
非常に残念な買い物でした。

追記：
その後MD821AM/Aを入手。MD821ZM/Aで発生していた現象はいまのところ発生せずに使えています。
なので、星1から星4へ昇格。

PCでもiPhoneでも、そのままイヤホン(SE535使用)を挿すのと比べ、明らかな音質向上があります。
聞こえなかった音が聞こえるようになるし、何より今までは音質に不満があったストリーミングであっても、十分に楽しめるレベルになります。
サイズも小さく、持ち運びに全く問題がないというのが大きな利点です。

ハイレゾはまだ試していませんが、これから楽しみです。
ポタアン初めてでしたが、最初にこれを買ってよかったと思いました。

(追記) ブチっと止まり、挿し直しでまた聞き直す、という頻度がだんだん上がり、二ヶ月ほどすると一曲もスムーズにきけないレベルになりました。これだとダメだ。ああ、惜しいなぁ。評価下げました。

(再追記) iPhone6 - 純正カメラアダプタ－ Cyberdrive DAC-SHURE SE535のつなぎですが、もしかするとと思い、純正USB3カメラアダプタに変更の上、電源供給しながらApple Music聞いてみました。すると音が切れにくくなり、正確には30分に１度ぐらいに頻度が減りました。それだけじゃなくて音質が上がっている。なるほど、電力が足らなかったのかもしれません。しかしKaiser Toneでハイレゾ聞くと1分で切れます。この製品はiPhone6じゃダメですね。PCでの利用なら安定してます。

この値段でDSDフォーマットの再生が出来るのは、有り得ない程の激安。
普通ならハイレゾPCMだって怪しい価格ですから、思わず飛びつきました。
音質はまあ、アンプもスピーカーも大した物では無いので、評価するのは難しいですね、ただ、音量が小さいかな？。
誰かが指摘しましたが、再生中はちょっと温度が気になりますね。
Buffer settingは、safe autoの位置のままの方がいいですね、下手にいじると再生中にプツッと音が途切れるところが出てきます。

あ、あと、Win7で使ってますが、ASIOで使ってください、WasapiですとDSDしか再生できませんでした。（両方同時にインストールされますが）

追伸：大幅に値上がりしてしまった、ひでぶっ！。
まあ元々この価格なのだろうし、それでもDsDネイティブ対応のDACとしては激安なんだけど、雑な扱いをして壊したらと思うとひやひやものですね。

Mac OSX 10.12+AudirvanaでDSDが再生できず、またiPhone6S+ONKOY HF Player +Apple純正 Lightning-USBカメラアダプタでもDSD/PCMともにうまく再生できませんでした。MacでのPCM再生は問題ないので、そのまま使用していますが、サポート対応には疑問が残りました。「正規販売店」からの購入でないと交換などの対応はできないようです。メールの返信も途切れました。しかしながら、たしかに安くて、音もまあまあ良いので、星3つです。

その後、正規ルート？であるCyberdrive, Incより買い直しました。すると今度はしっかりとしたアフターケアをしてもらいました。よって星4つに修正します。ただし、DSD再生やiOSでの再生がうまくいかなかったのは、変わりありませんでした。

I was scanning Amazon for some low cost thing to buy and stumbled across the Cyberdrive Feather DAC/headphone amp. Since it was DSD 256 (4x) capable and offered at 1/2 price, I felt it was worth a try.

Of course, Amazon Prime delivered in the usual two days but I wasn't quite ready for what I was in the box. The only thing in there was this tiny thing that looks like a slightly elongated USB flash drive... and there was nothing else.

No manual.
No installation instructions.
No driver CD.
Nothing!

What made things worse was that there was a very tight cap on it so it looked incomplete as there is only a headphone jack and two buttons for volume. When I pulled on the cap it took a fair amount of force to get it off. Fortunately, nothing broke so I plugged it into my laptop... and again, nothing!

Now I had to open the device manager (Windows 10) to see what was going on. As I suspected, there was no native Windows driver so next step was to Google "Cyberdrive Feather". Fortunately (their website comes up first) the driver download without any additional drama and installed without a hitch. I switched the default audio device to the Cyberdrive, changed the bit rate to 192kHz/24bit, plugged in my Sennheiser HD201 headphones and put on some music.

Honestly, this DAC isn't the best I've heard but at the price, there is nothing else that comes close and by close I mean anywhere in the known audio universe. Since it has an XMOS chip, very good sound quality should be no big surprise. The surprise is how well the amp section performs. Even with the lowly HD 201 headphones, there were very good dynamics. Impressive!

You would think that DSD would be even more impressive and yes, it is... if you can figure out how to make it work.

After some fuss, I was treated to some good DSD audio but honestly, I found it not much better than the PCM. In all fairness, I should have used one of my better headphones but again, I've listened to the same headphones through better DACs so there wasn't going to be sufficient improvement to change my opinion. Now don't get me wrong. This is an audiophile grade DAC by every measure and I recommend it highly but the lack of documentation diminishes this fine product greatly.

Since I really like the Cyberdrive Feather, I'm using the remainder of my review as a tutorial on how to get DSD working on J River. My tutorial assumes that you have a working knowledge of J River.

DSD How-To: (Specific to J River)

At this point, you should already have loaded the driver download from the Cyberdrive web site and should be able to play music through J River. To get DSD to function:

1 - You should first be sure that the Cyberdrive is NOT the default audio device. If it is, Windows will force it back to PCM mode.
2 - In J River, set your audio device to "Cyberdrive ASIO Driver [ASIO]"
3 - Set Bitstreaming to DSD
4 - Enable Output Format and set Output Encoding to "1xDSD in Native Format (requires ASIO and 1xDSD capable DAC)"
(You may also select 2x and it should play fine but 4x will stutter badly)
5 - Finally, you will need to reset the DAC. To reset, unplug the DAC and preferably, move it to a different USB port to assure that Windows does not reload the PCM driver.

At this point, if you are not enjoying some wonderful DSD audio. If not, you likely missed a step. Try again.
If you hear mostly white noise, be sure that all volume controls on the "Cyberdrive Control Panel" are set to maximum. If you need to know how to open that control panel, read the section below.

If you have been successful and want to experience DSD 256 (4x) do the following (Still in J River):
6 - Open Device settings
7 - Click "Open Driver Control Panel"
(it may not pop to the front so look in the application tray at the bottom of the screen for the red letter T and click on it)
8 - Click the "Buffer Settings" tab
9 - Change "USB Streaming Mode" to "Minimum Latency"
10 - Change "ASIO Buffer Size" to "32768 samples"

You should now be able to upsample to 4x DSD on the fly without stutter if your computer is fast enough (for reference, my laptop has a Core i5-2520m CPU).

Okay, so the second time around was a lot better. I've had it for a few weeks and put it to good use. I have a CS4398 based DAC on my PC, but this one blows it away with dynamic range and transparency. Been hesitant to buy an expensive DAC, but all and all, I'm glad I gave this one another shot, because it holds it's own versus the Teac and SMSL DSD DACs I've listened to.

Was sort of a hassle finding windows drivers for it, and also getting drivers that would let me use Foobar2000 harder... and I'm a network administrator... Overall took me about 3 hours of research, googling, and trial-n-error to get it up and running.

Sound is amazing, I gave 3 stars because I assume most people wouldn't have the trouble I had with mine. I used it for 3 hours straight, simply because I couldn't pull myself away from it. The dynamic range is exceptional and surpassed what I had expected. However, using it the following day, it would simply stop playing, usually not letting a song finish. The device seemed to "reset" itself, where Windows indicated the device disconnected and reconnected. I tried different ports, and also a different computer, same issue. Also tried on my Nexus 6, does the same thing. I returned my unit, hopefully it's just a bad apple, but I'm hesitant to try another one, I think I'm just gonna spend some more and get a more substantial DAC.

This is my first crack at Hi Res equipment. I'm an old fashioned soul by heart dealing mainly with trying to get an analog sound from some crappy
harsh sounding equipment sold on the market today. For $39 really you can't go wrong its not Audioquest or any Hi Res SONY but whats its worth I think this is charmer of hardware. I have had it for a month now and transferred most of my Apple music to WAV plus all of my CDs had to re import because of Apples not so grand sound. This little charmer totally opens up a better soundstage Highs are better defined and the lower Bass is really
more tight. Hooked it up to my Apple mini it worked right from the start no problems. Theres a little light telling you its on and a 2 button volume control. Just wish there was some literature that came with the box but I understand this was marketing product not yet ready for sale but here we are. The packaging on this was as Professional as you get. If I had to recommend this product I would with 5 stars but the literature brought it down 1. If your looking for a not so overly priced DAC for your computer and dont want to spend your weeks salary this is it !

I bought this to compensate for anemic volume on my Lenovo laptop. Owing to the awkward placement of the USB ports on the laptop, I attached this with a right-angle USB extension, and secured the front part to the side of the laptop with Velcro strips for security and stability. That places the volume control buttons at the front and facing outward for ease of access, and points the earbud socket towards you. The volume up button is closest to the front. It worked immediately upon insertion in a 64 bit Windows 10 laptop without requiring drivers or setup, and provides much higher volume than the built-in amplifier of the laptop, which is nearly useless - as are the speakers; so the volume from this device is NOT limited by the laptop's limited volume. It seems well-made, the buttons work well, and it has turned the laptop into a useful device for listening to music, YouTube videos, movies, video/Zoom conference dialogue, etc. Very pleased with the purchase.

There are many usb C dac like iBasso, Tempotec, Meizu and Dac that uses Realtek ALC 4050 or similar derivative without supporting Windows ASIO driver or offer any player software for DSD audio. Cyberdrive developed the Asio driver and Zeuss player which can be downloaded from Cyberdrive website. ASIO driver works great with other player freewares like Bumblebee and AIMP playing DSD64 and 128. For Linux audiophile using Volumio, Daphile and WTFPLAY (my favorite) this is the best portable DAC supporting DSD playback. The huge difference with most of other usb C DAC is the Cyberdrive has the volume control ability to play bit perfect DSD audio. For windows users, HYSOLID is a great DSD player with ASIO proving the bit perfect outcome. This little usb dac supports most headphones up to 150ohms and works great with Sennhieser HD630VB headphone giving clarity and accurate instrument separation. For in ear phones, the Audeze planar earphones isine10 with this usb dac for all the dsd players mentioned, the listening audition with Dsd or dsf audio is very impressive!!!
