Among other philanthropic efforts, Tim remains committed to his support in the fight against Prostate Cancer.

A must read for anyone starting a business. This book provides you with a step by step plan to start and then grow a business, from idea to success. It is an easy to follow plan, written concisely and with none of the fluff you find in typical business books. It is not a rah-rah, you-can-do-it book, its is a "here is how you do it" book. Using his own experience, the experience of his mentors and other business owners, the author takes you through set up and growth, covering all the basics and also the little things that you might not otherwise think of.

I read this book while simultaneously starting a new business. When I started my first business I did not have a system or plan, and found myself a year into the business, going back and doing most of the items in this book out of necessity, Had I had this book then, it would have saved me from wasting an entire year. Not only did I find it incredibly useful for the startup of a new venture, I am now using the growth plan to grow my first business.

I cannot recommend The 10 Factor enough. Unless you are already a master at startups, you will find value in this book.

The 10 Factor has been worth it's weight in gold for my business. It is written in a clear and relatable way that is easily applicable to pretty much all entrepreneurs looking to break out of the rut and start seeing positive changes in your business.

I will say that at some points this book shed light on things that I thought I was doing well, but turns out, I wasn't. It has been a bit humbling at times and it has taken honest self reflection and work, but the roadmap and blueprints are fantastic.

It's been said that every business must have a plan. This book teaches you how to do it. It's broken, down into easy sections for maximum understanding.

The chapter on 'Focus' really spoke to me. If we don't have clarity, we're in danger of expending too much energy doing things that don't need to be done, or that don't need to be done by US. Worst case scenario - lack of clarity can take us completely off our intended path, sometimes without a way to get back on target. This particular quote says it all, "Focus on fixing yourself first and your business second."

The Entrepreneurial life is not an easy one, and it is not for everyone. The Entrepreneurial mindset can be both a blessing and a curse. There's never a shortage of ideas, but also it's easy to become distracted by too many possibilities and dilute our original goals.

If you don't have a working plan for your business, or if you haven't even though about it, do yourself a favour and buy the 'The 10 Factor' today. This will get you started on the right track, and may just be the information you need to steer your business from the rocks of mediocrity, to the safe harbour of success.
