$80 for markers is hard to swallow when you don't use it as your tool of the trade, especially as a dad. However, these seem to be a pretty damn good value considering the QUALITY of what you're getting.
The markers all have extra tips that I guess you could use to blend colors. Everything looks solid. The carry case is pretty nice. It comes with extra tips, so the modular design is nice to have.
The COLORS are pretty vivid. You will not get the crappy washed-out look when using these. They are SOLID, VIVID colors that POP.
HIGHLY recommended for the artist in your life. I never understood why these things were so expensive... guess I do now.
Hard to describe, I suggest you go to the manufacturers website and view some of their excellent videos.
I like these because I don't have to buy multiple pens in the same color to get different shades. I also love that they are refillable, and that all the nibs can be changed.

Also: Üben, üben, üben.
Definitiv: KAUFEN!
