Overall the tent is really nice. Camped in a storm. Rain leaked in front and corners. Not much. Door zipper gets stuck. But it was still a really nice tent. We slept great in the dark. Kept us safe and sheltered for a 4 day camp trip.

I bought this tent for a canoe camping trip. I have backpacking tents that cost a heck of a lot more money but my daughter was going to be sharing the tent with me so I wanted something more spacious so that we could both comfortably fit with all of our gear as well. I don't know that the darkroom technology really impacted the temperature inside the tent too much, but it was definitely nice that it kept the light out in the mornings. All in all the tent seems pretty durable and is easy to set up. There was plenty enough space for my daughter and I, a full sized air mattress that we shared and all of our gear. Without the air mattress I think we could have comfortably slept a third person in the tent, though 4 would be very tight. We had no issues with condensation on the inside walls of the tent over the 5 days we camped, there was actually no condensation at all, even on the few wet/damp/hot days we had. It rained heavily all day one of the days we camped and while the tent did pretty well in the rain, there was water seeping through the seams in the four corners where the bathtub connects to the fabric of the tent. This didn't result in a ton of water in the tent, but enough that I do think I will try to buy and apply some seam seal before the next trip. I also cannot for the life of me get the tent back in to the carrying bag. It fits fine width-wise but seems like it is just too long to pack down back into the bag! And yes, I followed the instructions given to pack the tent back up. One last downside- this tent is HEAVY! Roughly 11lbs. I would not use this tent for anything other than camping in a site you can drive to, or canoe camping... some kind of camping where you are not required to carry the tent for long distances. It is just too heavy for that. Overall I think that this tent is great for the price and seems like it'll hold up well.

It’s a great and spacious tent. I would not call it truly dark inside, but it’s dark enough that when you close your eyes, you couldn’t tell the difference. It effectively blocks out piercing sunlight and gives you a chance to sleep off that epic camping hangover from too many beers around the fire the night before. I’ve used it 3 times so far and setup is very easy. Putting it away is a bit more difficult. I don’t really like the way the poles are attached to one side of the fabric, as it limits the ways you can roll it up to put away. It’s doable though with some careful folding. Overall I love it and hope it holds up over time.
