Our real vanilla extract is packaged in an amber glass bottle to protect the vanilla from light degradation and both the bottle and cap are recyclable. Simply Organic's Pure Vanilla Extract is derived from high-quality vanilla beans grown in Madagascar. We get vanilla from our Madagascar partners in our sustainable sourcing program. Most of our vanilla is grown by small-scale farmers who are organized into self-governing cooperatives. Their vanilla processing is very decentralized, with the majority of the blanching and curing being done by the farmers themselves, providing high-quality beans with an excellent flavour profile. Good vanilla
This vanilla is just as good as my regular vanilla. As other customer's stated, there is a problem with spillage when pouring due to the lip. I just measure it out over whatever I am using it in, no big deal.I do however, have a HUGE deal with this tiny bottle coming to me separate from my larger order (so another delivery driver) and in this ridiculously large box. I guess that would be an Amazon issue but I can't find a place to complain to Amazon so unfortunately the seller is taking the heat.Shame on Amazon.

The vanilla extract itself is great, no issues there. But the bottle doesn't pour very well, so the vanilla trickles down the side. I end up losing a bit of vanilla every time I use it, which is not the end of the world, but could definitely be improved.

It was clear the vanilla had leaked, and when I opened the lid it did not taste like the vanilla extract from that brand that I always buy. The edge of the lid - seen pictures - was rusty, as if it was an old lid that had been screwed on after the bottle had been opened and then resealed. I do not trust that this is the real thing, or it has gone bad. It had spilled onto the label and there was sticky liquid on and under the seal before I opened it. I want my money back. This is unnacceptable that I am unable to return or refund this. I will be contact Amazon to ensure I get money back for a faulty product I cannot use.
