I've always said that George's music and smooth voice could soothe my soul like no other so this book was a must read for me. Really great book, especially if you're a fan. Learned new things about the man, his music, and his life. Not always good, which I knew, but didn't realize how troubled a soul he truly, and sadly, was. He was a kind, generous, loving and gentle soul but also a flawed and troubled man who sometimes couldn't escape his demons. As someone else mentioned, a good amount of this book comes from previous interviews and documentaries but this book expands upon it and puts it into the context in which it belongs. Even discovered some new music and videos through the pages of this biography. I will always miss George but am so thankful he left us such an amazing catalog of music sung in his beautiful voice. Highly recommend.
