Bought 2 shoe racks over 3 years ago (same brand and model). Loved them so much, I decided to order two more to build and connect on top. Color chosen was a satin pewter. Overall, I'm satisfied with function, design, and esthetics of the shoe racks.
Pros: Comes packaged well. The shelves offer you the option of straight or tilted style. Assembly was relatively straight forward & can be definitely built by one person alone. There are varying heights and spaces to place different style shoes. When two racks are placed directly next to each other, you can add an additional pair in the middle.
Cons: I had one rack in which the provided wrench provided seemed worn and was not engaging in the screw heads and the manufacturer does not provide you with extra screws (which could potentially be an issue if for some reason one is stripped). The racks are connected by a dowel which is screwed into the top rack and passively fits and seats into the lower rack. Sturdy design, relatively stable. As manufacturer recommends, wouldn't try to stack a third rack because it would most likely be unstable and topple over.
