DEFECTIVE PRODUCT, DISHONEST COMPANY
I used them perhaps twice to practice tap and then I stored them in a corner of my living room (household temperature, dry California humidity). To my dismay, within a few months of 2020, they became unglued. See the photo attached. Not a single once remains useable. I explained to the company that I had been hospitalized and ill with coronavirus between March - July and didn't have the energy to investigate whether they were warranties. When I wrote them, they said to contact Amazon, but of course Amazon told me that the return window was only 2 weeks. WHAT A CORRUPT COMPANY SELLING A DEFECTIVE PRODUCT. I've lost my money. I reckon the only thing I can do is to warn you not to lose yours.

I am a yoga teacher and wanted a place to practice at home. However, we have carpet and rent so building a makeshift yoga studio in our guest room was out of the question. These modular grid tiles though have been just the work around we needed. We bought a piece of thick plywood (or particle board?) to put on top of the carpet and then put the floor on top of that and it works perfectly as a yoga studio. The tiles snap together very easy and are of very high quality. If you are putting them on top of carpet though, you will need something hard underneath, as they flex a bit at the hinges when placed directly on the carpet and subjected to weight.

First of all (and I believe most important) this company was fantastic! After I didn’t receive my item I tracked my item and it turns out it was delivered to a totally different address (like states away lol). I contacted the company and within hours they had a replacement order shipped. Very easy to communicate with and have issues fixed.

I bought this flooring to use with tap shoes. They re way to snap together and they are sturdy on the floor. My son’s toddler taps sound fine on them and it gives him a place to tap without tearing up the hardwood floor. As far as my “adult” taps the heel sounds are pretty dull but it serves its purpose well. Much cheaper option than buying Dance Dots or products similar. All in all would buy again.

Product looks and feels as described. Very flexible in setup possibilities. There were comments on how to set up on carpet or even grass and my comment would be the underground must be pretty firm. I initially set it up and a soft wall to wall carpet and the floor flexed too much. I then put a sheet of plywood on top of the carpet and the floor on top of the plywood and it is perfect now. The assembly could not be easier. Anyone who complained that it takes a little muscle does not appreciate that for the pieces to fit snuggly and firmly together they need to be "spring-loaded" and therefore it takes a little force, but still not much. No tools are required, just a little pounding with a flat hand. My son uses it for breakdance practice and is very happy with it. Only note of caution for that application is: you need more room than you think as the dancing goes all all over with windmills and all...

Excellent product! The design and texture of the floor are beautifully crafted.

I read reviews by some buyers who had trouble locking the pieces together, so I went on Youtube to see how it's done. The video suggests locking together with your feet rather than your hands, which can be hard as well as painful on our hands. So I tried it as demonstrated on Youtube; just place the male side of one panel on the top edge of the female side and step on the edges to lock in place. Works like a charm!

I purchased 9 pieces. I usually have my floor set up 24" x 48" (because of the routine I'm practicing). When I'm done practicing, I just pick up the floor, snap it apart (in two, 24" x 24" pieces) and place up against the wall. That way, when I'm really to use again, I don't have to re-snap all the pieces back together again, just snap the two, 24"x24" sets together, and I'm really to go!

I expect to purchase more pieces as I advance in my tap dancing and need more flooring to dance.

Great tap floor. Makes good sound when tapping. I gave it 4 stars because it is hard to put together and take apart, so we are not able to take it apart and leave it in a box as we planned.

My daughter LOVES this dance floor! She just got it today and is already in love, she’s been tapping on it all day! Super easy to put together, in fact my 12 year old daughter put 9 pieces of these together in less than 10 minutes! She put it in her carpeted room, and says it’s only a tiny bit less sturdy than her dance studio floors, but that it doesn’t feel any different! $67 for a 3ft by 3ft dance tap floor is an amazing deal, and it’s totally worth it!

This is a great price for these squares I bought to practice my tap dancing (you know: middle age panic activity). They snapped together easily (not sure what the issue is with other folks but to align, use your feet to pound them in!). My main reason for not giving 5 stars is that when I tried to store 6 of them this standing up against a wall, several of the top laminated layers slid right off - they weren't attached/affixed very strongly. After a few times dancing on the squares, they seem to be holding up. I mean, it's a great price for these but I wouldn't use them in a professional/paid dance studio.
