We’ve been big fans of the Timeline series. For some reason today I drew multiple cards that had date errors. Googling will reveal there’s potentially a dozen. 2 examples pictured here: 1 that is insanely wrong and 1 that is only off by a year but such an easy error to have avoided.

This is a great family game. Even my 9 year old enjoys playing on a "team" with me or his dad. Even though we don't always remember exactly when things are we love guessing and then finding out if we were right or wrong. It's a great learning game. Some of the dates aren't exactly accurate but they're close enough.
This is the PERFECT light game to bring to any occasion. My family groans at having to learn new games and usually one or two of them fall asleep by the time I get the pieces out of the box. But this is a simple game to understand and VERY easy to teach. This is also my favorite version of all the timelines variants.
Everyone likes trivia and testing their knowledge so it works for all ages. I’ve played this from people who’s age ranges from 13-95 (in the same game too) but mostly play with people in their 20’s and 30’s and this is THE game to bring out either to start a game night or just ad a social activity to a party.
I will day that because it’s American trivia, this ends up being more challenging than the classic version or pretty much any other version because you get double the cards (which is a huge plus) but you’re working with only about 300 years of time so it can be tricky once the timeline fills up.
Print on the cards is a little on the small side do grandparents will need good lighting or assistance reading but honestly it’s not a set back.
This is a fun little game and is not complicated at all. The cards are artistic but very small. This makes a good travel game since the tin and cards are small and don't need a lot of space to play. We played the entire deck in about an hour and thoroughly enjoyed it. Only one card was grossly wrong and it was about when the American Bald Eagle was adopted as our National Bird. The card said 1574 (or close to it) when the actual date was 1782 (I checked the date).
I wish I could buy more cards in this genre but it seems I can only buy more games of differing genres.
