This is my second set as the first one had a dried out marker. I did try to contact the company but never got a response so I returned them to Amazon and got a replacement set. However, when I did start that process, Amazon also suggests contacting the company and provided contact information. I did not use it since I had already done that, but maybe the Amazon information would work better than the Ohuhu website. Since I ended up with markers I was happy with, I did not downgrade the review. UPDATE: I was wrong, I found their response buried in my Junk mail box. Not only did they respond, they followed up when they did not hear from me. That is great customer service, but since I already gave the item 5 stars I have no way to give them extra credit!!
The only other note would be if you are looking to try these markers out with the intention of getting more to build your set, you should look at the website to understand what colors are important to you. For example, I ordered the 48 marker set but the colors that are added to make the 72 marker set are not available to be purchased separately. So if I really wanted them, I would need to buy the 72 marker set and get 48 duplicate colors. The markers are so reasonably priced, be sure to get the set that includes all the colors you would want. Some sets are available separately like the pastels. Hope this helps.
Review:
-I use Copic Sketch markers but due to the skyrocket price I had to change so I was seeking good alternatives. These are good, they're not as good as Copic and nobody can tell me otherwise. The brush tip is much tougher than Copic which is good to get fine lines but can be awkward to get small to thick lines while Copic Brush feels like a fine liner brush, being super flexible while still allowing fine lines. Nothing deal breaking but worth mentioning
-The color selection is weird in my opinion since it looks like there's a large selection but I found them always 100% saturation. Most likely because they're new so I need to wear down the ink but it made it very difficult to get good contrast in highlights to shadows. Also made it difficult to mix colors because it's just always 100% saturated. I found myself wanting different colors despite the 48 selection so I would need to blend 3 markers + colorless blender to get the actual shade I want. Something I do not think is super beginner friendly and requires patience with color theory. That's if you want a different color, maybe it fits you but I do illustrations and their lightest skin tone was still too dark so imagine every other color having the same issue. Frustrating for me.
-Long term use. If you are planning to use these for professional use then you'll definitely have to adapt to the limitations the markers have that Copic doesn't. While Amateurs can enjoy this easily.
- I hate the container. It's just some bag and really annoying to reclose when you are shoving the markers down plus it's just not convenient if you want to get their full selection of markers. Something like Spectrum Nior shelves is a great example of quality of life.
Basic stuff I would recommend/anyone can notice
- It blends
- Good pigment
- Comfortable and easy to recap for easy swap of markers
- Won't roll away due to small tabs on the cap to prevent rolling
- Container is garbage
- Can get professional work with some workarounds
- Cheap for what you get
- Has a colorless blender, the most important marker in my opinion.
- Great for newcomers
- Awkward colors
TLDR Section:
Good for both professional and amateur use. Not the best markers but I will try Spectrum Nior in a couple of months and will edit my review to see if these are better than Nior's. Copic is versatile and reliable for anything you want to do while Ohuhu needs work arounds.

That said, I think that the markers are all beautiful colors and I love the brush tips. The other end is a big chisel tip. I bought these for the brush tip, but did not realize that Ohuhu also makes markers that are a brush tip + fine tip combination instead of brush + chisel. So if you do not think you need the chisel tip (nice for faster coloring of bigger areas) and would like a fine tip (smaller details than even the brush tip) please look for the brush+fine markers instead! I'm very happy with this brand and the value for the money, and will definitely be investing in more colors in the future.
The markers come in a zip up case that they can stand up in, which is nice, and also included was a plastic sheet that you can put under your paper to prevent bleeding (if you are using thinner paper, or just for peace of mind!) It also comes with a fold up piece of paper labeled with the color names so that you can swatch out your colors. I recommend also doing your swatches on the type of paper you will be using, though!
