Use your Deduction Skills

As the detective, gather clues and question suspects as you piece together the events on the night of the murder. Something is not adding up -- and it’s up to you to discover the inconsistencies in the suspects’ stories in order to solve the case.

Race Against Time

Time is not on your side. The killer will strike again. You have seven nights to solve the case. Be careful… accuse the wrong suspect twice or run out of time, and the murderer will skip town and escape justice for good.

Play with Friends or Go Solo

You or a group of friends can figure out this mystery together. Come up with a group plan to question suspects and collect evidence. Play solo if you think you have what it takes to crack the case.

Replayability

With multiple story-lines and endings, each new game has its killer and victim randomized, meaning no two games are exactly the same. Learn more about the characters and locations through immersive sound design and cinematic voice-performances in each play-through.

Murder mystery game—find who the killer is, where the murder took place and what weapon was used before the murderer strikes again and get away.Box includes:•Game board•Double sided suspect cards (Suspicious side or Honest side)• Double sided Weapon tokens•Instruction booklet•PencilLike:•Alexa app storytelling to set the mood and background story•Alexa tutorial to ease the learning of the game•Character interaction with players via questioning on Alexa app•Character acting on the Alexa App•Game board and game item designsDislike:•There is one strategy that can be use in the game to find the murderer—find out who is lying. After that, figuring out what weapon is in what location is not needed•Players can skip almost all dialog by disrupting Alexa by going straight to questioning suspects. As a result, you don’t get any background story.•Players can simply ask 2 questions, throughout the game, to the suspects—where they were and who was at the location next to them and if the suspect is lying of where they were—that is most likely the murderer.•Game box is thick but mostly wasted spaceOverall:•This game is for a simple fun family/friend game night. Not too difficult to start with. To really enjoy the game, players should listen to the story and ask verity of questions to get immersed in the game.•The game doesn’t have anything that really sticks out but since it is an app based game, it can improve in difficulty level and better stories•With that it gets 3/5 stars for an average board game rating.

This game exceeded my expectations as well as my hard core board gamer husband‘s. We thought it would be a cute party game and a novelty item—but not much more. However, we were both pleasantly surprised that it actually has a very unique niche place in our huge game collection. It’s a great game for when you want a challenge, but don’t want to play an hours’ long murder mystery game like Sherlock Holmes or Detective Of Modern Crime and similar games. The strategy involved is different from other deductive reasoning and inductive reasoning games as well. It uses both deductive reasoning and spatial thinking skills. The game is very beautiful, nicely packaged, very entertaining, and fun. We have hundreds of board games—some very expensive, and I will say for the high quality of the game and the low price I paid—St. Noire is an absolute steal of a deal. I highly recommend anyone who has an Alexa and loves board games to buy St. Noire. I truly hope to see more Alexa- based board games! St. Noire is, literally, a Game Changer!

St. Noire will take you beyond your typical board game night. The game play was a good amount of time (around 20-30 minutes) so we got in several rounds with friends on board game night. Since the game works with Alexa there are countless whodunit mysteries to solve. One of the most impressive things about the game is the use of voice actors, so instead of Alexa’s voice, scenarios feature real actors, ambient scene sounds. The production quality of the sound was fantastic - the high quality of the box, board and cards was stunning and elevated the overall experience. St. Noire is a top choice for game nights with friends and keeps people guessing. Looking forward to more game nights and murder-mystery fun with St. Noire.

The game appearance is very eye catching and seems of good quality other than the weapons box was glued shut. I had to open from the side to get the tray to slide out, but this is a minor flaw. Where the game seems to be lacking is the voice acting. I wish the male characters, other than the detective didn't have the same voice. Likewise for the female voice actors. Also if you question the same character I wish there was a little more randomness to their response. On back to back games the same character said the same thing which breaks the immersive experience. Maybe have them say similar phases differently that imparts the same information. I am hoping in the future they will expand the voice acting library or have expansion packs available to add to the games play-ability.

I loved playing this game! I was looking for a game for a friend of mine for his birthday and stumbled across this game, and had no clue that there were games made for Alexa. So knowing that my friend had an Alexa, we both love mystery/ investigative games, I decided to buy it. It is so cool! When we're playing with our other friends, we had no idea how it worked but Alexa walks you through on how the rules work and how easy it is to play with everyone. We would go around the room and take turns to investigate murders, and talk with suspects (which were all voiced by different people- creating an even better immersion experience), and checking places on the board. One of the interesting games we've played and would recommend anyone to buy this game if you love mystery and investigation type games with added audio effects!

I bought this thinking it would be a more involved game of clue. I guess I expected this to be like a "Choose your own adventure book", where the story changed and the characters changed. So I bought Clue as well and played it with the kids to get them ready for this. But this is the dumbest game ever created. It involves no logic, just guessing until you stumble on the killer or run out of time. The game is exactly the same every time you play. The same person is murdered and you have seven "days" to figure it out. By the third round we didn't even need to listen to Alexa give her long winded descriptions of the players because we'd already heard them 3 times. They never change. We just interrupted her and asked our question. Of which there are two. "Where were you the night of the crime" and "did you see anyone that night". There is no challenge. And everyone plays the game as a group, which means that unless you appoint a person to ask the questions, everyone talks at once and confuses Alexa. One game shut down in the middle and crashed Alexa, we had to shut her down twice and reboot her to start all over again. Try telling kids they can't ask Alexa questions, it's not their turn. They were bored and frustrated. This game isn't even in the same league as Clue. We played one night, and went back to Clue. And yes, the packaging is incredible and the graphics are slick and the board is beautiful, but the metallic on black elements make it impossible to read if the light hits a certain way and the text is so tiny and the whole thing is dark on dark. We're returning this for a refund.

I got this game during Prime days for like $9 and I was super excited. My mother and I play it and it really is a lot of fun. My only complaint is that sometimes Alexa cuts out. Or, if you take a while to ask a question, Alexa exits the game mode and turns off. Overall it is a really fun game with an interesting concept. I would buy it again or another game similar to it.
