I picked this book and started reading by accident thinking it was a another book and was captivated from the first page. I wouldn't have continued but had no choice. It was that good.
Angie's life was in danger and she needed help and only really the kind of help Colt could provide.
Danger, drama, mystery, intrigue plus a side of romance and a little steam.
I absolutely adored the tall, gruff Protector who really worked hard to avoid his feelings. He really was all alpha and didn't know what he wanted till it was solved in his face in the form of Angie.
The chemistry and passion certainly was amazing to read about and I absolutely loved loved this book!! I highly recommend this book and this author. Great work!!

This is my first book by this author and also the first book in the series that I have read, so I jumped in a little blind. However this did not deter me and it did not take long for Angie and Colt to have me captivated by their story. A book full of intrigue, suspense and love. Angie is a character with plenty of strength and Colt is the man that wants to protect her and love her all at once. This fast paced romance is one full of passion, mystery and it will have you gripped to the pages to the very end. After reading this third book in the series, I am heading back for the first two books as I am now addicted to the Black Bandits.

Now I have loved these two since the beginning and the dance and run has been fun but now is the time for Colt to catch and secure Angie if he hopes for any kind of future with her.

Poor Ang has had a bad run lately and it's still a bit rocky even with Colt hanging around.
I love these two Ang is struggling to find herself again after a few scares and Colt the big adorable lug head just isn't convinced he can have his awesome job and the woman he has the total hots for...
I love how Ian is always playing matchmaker in the background, giving his guys subtle and not so subtle pushes when they need them...lol

Black Out was a gripping tale from start to finish with some wonderful, steamy moments.

Angie takes over some accounts when one of their accountants goes missing from the firm she works at. When she discovers discrepancies she mentions them to Colt which has his internal radar going off and when it appears someone wants to break into her home, Colt pulls out all the stops to protect her❣️

A wonderful story and I loved finding out more about Colt and his secret of where he comes from😁 I hope Ian Black’s story is next because I feel desperate after all this time to learn more about him and the elusive Calypso/ Natasha❤️

I loved reading Hostile Operations Team books and thought they were great but the Black series of books is superb with plenty of suspense to draw you in with a dash of romance. This was the third book in her new series and this one was about Angie and Colt. Colt was a member of the team responsible for protecting Angie from ultimately the Russian mafia.
I highly recommend this new series of books by Lynne Raye to you without question. I became rapt in and read it from cover to cover with very few pit stops. You will enjoy the books!

If you have read Ms. Harris' H.O.T. series, you know that sprinkled throughout the series, Ian Black has shown up at just the right time for many of the H.O.T. missions. Colonel John VIPER Mendez, H.O.T. leader, has stated that Black is a mystery and has wondered if he is the enemy, a disavowed C.I.A. agent that isn't disavowed at all, or maybe a mercenary for hire. Regardless, Ian Black has helped Mendez and his men on several occasions, so for now, Mendez will count him as one of the good guys. This series is about Ian and his operatives.

We first met Angelica (Angie) Turner in BLACK TIES (book 1). She is best friends with Dr. Madeline Cole (Maddy). Angie is an accountant, and when she finds a customer file on the company server. When she leaves a voice mail for "the customer" that the data belongs to, she immediately is in danger. When people go missing and are being killed around her, she goes to Maddy and her fiance' Jace Kaiser, a Black operative.

When it is brought to Ian Black, he decides to assign Colton Duchaine to protect her. The rest of the Black Bandits is assigned to find out who is the “customer” and why are they leaving bodies in their wake, (we met Colton Duchaine in Books1&2).

Angie and Colton have had an attraction to each other since they first met. However, Angie keeps running away. Now, she will be in Colton's home and will see him every waking hour. Just as Angie and Colton give in to their attraction to each other, Angie is kidnapped. Colton and the Bandits immediately go into operation mode to find her and take down the bad guys.

Can Colton and the Bandits find Angie in time, or will she be another casualty in this intense mystery? Find out as you bite your nails in this fast-paced, adrenaline rush novel. I highly recommend this series!!

I’m not surprised that this new BDI series is so good. Lynn Raye Harris can make a phone book an exciting adventure! This story sucks you in right from the beginning and is a thrill ride completely to the end.

I love Angie’s determination to take control of her life and will not allow anyone to take advantage of her ever again and I appreciate how Colton is respectful of her attitude instead of offended by it. These two seem like polar opposites with Colton being a “spy” as Angie has decided, and she is an accountant with a talent for analytics. How could they possible find any common ground?

Both are dedicated to their work. Colton lives to help rid the world of the nasties that prey on the innocent, Angie analyzes the data and finds the anomalies that don’t fit, and both want a positive result. It’s no secret that they are attracted to each other. Colton is a fierce warrior when the job calls for it, but when it comes to Angie, he’s all about taking care of her and protecting her, no matter what especially now that someone thinks she knows something and people start disappearing.

This story has it all, suspense, action-packed, danger, and murder. It also has the sweet, romantic vibes that we’ve come to love in these amazing stories. Also included is the elite team at BDFI assisting in keeping the Russian mob from getting away with corruption, money laundering and the mayhem that surrounds the situation.

This is one of those great books that you read in one sitting without really realizing it and when you finish, you crave more! I can’t wait to see what comes next!

Colt and Angie. They have danced around each other for several books and now we see them take their journey to a HEA. Angie is a trouble magnet. She was assaulted and kidnapped by separate people in a previous book and then in this book she is in danger for accounting discrepancies that she found in a colleagues files. The positive of that danger is it gets to be with Colton and brings her job prospects up for discussion with Ian! The danger is all domestic, but does involve a criminal that Ian has been after a while. Many of the team and couples are present in this book and the ending with Ian and the note on the roses had me smiling and chuckling! Great book and fantastic ending.
