This is a great pot it heats up very quickly and has nice non stick coating inside. I will say that grease is a little difficult to get rid of. I boiled water with pop after cooking and even with cleaning with comet and detergent few times water still had grease in it. Its nothing major unless you intend to make tea or boil just water with this pop after cooking. pop will look clean and nothing sticks but if you do boil plain water after there will be some grease in water. But if your going to make stews or soup you have no worries. The pot is about 9 inches across or wide and about 5.6 inches high. This is a great pot for small family I wouldn't cook anything with bones unless you are making a soup because bones will scratch and damage most non stick pots. So I would recommend using this as a rice pop or steaming vegetable. of course you can use it to cook anything but I have had that experience with non stick pots before no matter what is advertised expensive or cheap even when using non stick utensils if you cook items with bones It will cause wear and tear on the pots non stick surface. I also have Anolon Advanced pots and these are just as good. Anolon advance also makes Rachel ray pots so these are just as good as those. Don't pay expensive premium for bigger brands. All you want to know is that pots heat up quickly, evenly and most importantly last long enough for you to get back your money out of it. I have had these about 4 months now and it still looks and works like brand new. Also the handles are metal but they cool very very quickly. Minute or 2 after turning stove off you can actually use your hand to hold them or rag or oven gloves. Only draw back is that cover does not have breathing hole so if your making pasta for example it will tend to foam over. I usually leave pot slightly uncovered to avoid any issues.
