Before I discovered roof rakes existed I made one. Mine is crap. I wouldn't be able to make a better one for the price of this Garant.
It was easy to assemble. Instructions clear. In all about 20 minutes including grabbing some sockets and wrenches.
The blade is stout and well braced to the handle. I was really happy to see the "Don't use near power lines" sticker - given the rake is close to 7m long it would be very easy to ground the lines running beside my garage.
I used it from the top of a ladder and found it to be stable and stiff enough without compromising my balance.
Other than running the thing over with a car it is hard to imagine it breaking.
Printed on the box "Assembled in Canada". It wasn't, unless putting some nuts and bolts in a baggy constitutes assembly nowadays. It was assembled in my garage. Thank you China...probably.
