I purchased this backpack 11 years ago while in college here in the PNW. I bought it because of the waterproof capabilities. Unfortunately one of my cats used the glasses area as a scratching post and that part is no longer waterproof. My only gripe would be that all of the blue plastic zipper pulls became brittle quickly and broke. The zippers are still functional, they just require a little more grip. I would love to purchase another of this exact model someday when it fits in my budget.
