  • Heat activated
  • Permanent

  • No-sew, simply iron the hem together! Creates a clean hem in seconds!
  • No paper liner or backing paper on this roll.

General Directions

Pre-wash all materials without fabric softeners. Pre-test adhesive on materials before starting project.

  1. Preheat iron to medium heat, no steam.
  2. Turn item inside-out or turn over.
  3. Measure & press new hem into the fabric.
  4. Place Tape inside the new folded hem.
  5. Place iron on fabric and hold with firm pressure for 8 seconds on each section, slightly overlapping, until the entire surface is bonded.
  6. Turn item right side out and iron fabric for additional 3 seconds on each section, slightly overlapping, until the entire surface is bonded.

Tips:

  • Pre-wash all materials (without fabric softener) you will be using prior to fusing
  • Do not touch iron directly to the Hem Tape. Do not iron directly to your ironing board. There is not a protective paper backing and the adhesive will melt to your iron or your ironing board. You must sandwich this adhesive between the two layers of fabric to be fused before applying your iron
  • Machine wash delicate cycle warm, tumble dry low heat or no heat (and in accordance to garment / fabric washing directions). Avoid repeated or excessive ironing to the area after fusing. DO NOT DRY CLEAN

    a must for petit women
As a petite woman, I found the HeatnBond Hem Iron-On Adhesive to be incredibly useful for hemming my clothes. The super weight variant provides a strong hold, ensuring that my hems stay in place even after multiple washes. The 3/4 inch width is perfect for smaller garments, and the 8-yard length lasts a long time, making it a cost-effective option.I appreciate the convenience of the iron-on adhesive, as it eliminates the need for sewing and allows me to quickly and easily adjust the length of my clothes to fit my petite frame. The adhesive is also easy to use, requiring only a few simple steps to apply, and I have used it in many different types of fabric without a problem, the only thing you must consider is increasing the temperature of the iron.Overall, I highly recommend the HeatnBond Hem Iron-On Adhesive, especially for petite women like myself who often struggle to find clothes that fit perfectly off the rack. It's a game-changer for achieving the perfect hem without the hassle of sewing.

5.0 out of 5 stars Problem?
Reviewed in the United States on October 14, 2023
I don't understand how anyone has a problem with this . U don't have to be crafty... U need to know how to make a fold. See, this stuff looks like a tape but it's more... Think of string, glued and dried so what ur doing is melting glue. Turn clothes inside out and then stuff a piece of this stuff in there. U don't have to lay it perfectly, just make sure none is sticking out because it might be hard to get off ur iron but thats worst thing that's gonna happen. So u heat iron up somewhere safe and away from flammable things as ur folding and placing tape all around it .. then lay the hot iron (I had it set in middle like shown in pic) and it's been preheated so it's hot. Put in on the fold for a few seconds and flip to other side . U can feel by listening and feeling for roughness if it's melted before going to next side. When it is melted u won't feel anything hard or russling inside. Let it cool and it should feel like it's all glued together but not hard .. its like a billion threads
Working. Now the only issue was a spot with no tape. It was a seam and it lifted area beside it so I put a small piece in there and got it again . Leaving openings without tape... The seams are most tricky but they are to fold, keep folded and hold there anyway... Always. That's like the usual ironing hardship so naturally it's gonna still be a problem with taping so u might have to go over it with a lil more .. it's easy peasy
