Switch is designed to ensure a problem free operation during household use
Durable Float Switch:
Connected at the top and the bottom of the pump
- Allows for operation in 11" minimum diameter basins
Float constructed of Polyoxymethylene (POM)
POM is one of the strongest plastics and was originally formulated to compete with zinc and aluminum castings.
Heavy-Duty Switch
The heavy-duty switch and the stainless-steel switch arm is protected by the stainless-steel guard mounted to the top of the pump.
The internal switch connection is properly sealed and protected by the gasket and cast iron housing.
Advanced Float Design
Engineered composite float rod with reinforcing rib provides low friction guide for level control float.
Advanced material and design of automatic float switch system is strongest and most reliable in its class.

PSC (Permanent Split Capacitor) MotorWaterAce uses a PSC (permanent split capacitor) motor which draws less amps which in turn allows the motor to run more efficiently, creating less heat. 'Continuous duty' does not have a certain time frame on it, but being rated continuous duty will allow the pump to keep running while needed throughout a storm, or other water issues. |
Non-Clogging Vortex ImpellerThe SAS series allows for ½” solids to pass through the non-clogging vortex impeller. |
DischargeDepending on previously installed pipe to old pump, the 'old' pipe could be used. However, if it is a new install or if you will replace everything, the discharge size on the SAS series is 1-1/2” FNPT. A check valve is needed and is not included with the pump. (sold separately). |
The SAS Series Can Be Plugged Dirctly Into a Normal 15A OutletThe Single Phase 110V SAS series with attached 10' cord is designed to plug directly into a separately fused, grounded line with a minimum capacity of 15 amps. It can be connected to a non-fuse breaker at the recommended amperes. Note that plugging into existing outlets may cause low voltage at motor. This could cause blown fuses, tripping of motor overload or burned out motor. Do not use an extension cord. |
