While I've yet to read the ENTIRE book yet, I am beyond words of gratitude for the life-changing messages delivered thus far by author Meghan Bucher. She puts friendship into a perspective that should help each and every one of us to subjectively and even objectively examine our "true" friends. It's a sit-down-and-read-it-all book as well as one to keep on your nightstand and pick up periodically, rereading sections and chapters that speak to you in the moment. Meg pulls in scripture as well as anecdotes from her own life to show us how we are called to be like Christ in becoming Friends With Everyone. That isn't to say you are called to pour your heart and soul into everyone you meet. She defines boundaries, too, addressing difficult relationships with people in our lives and how Christ's love can strengthen and support and nurture us in finding compassion for those people without sacrificing our own wholeness.

I wasn't quite sure about reading this book at first, as I don't tend to have trouble making deep, long lasting friendships and am Blessed with many friends. BUT...what a TREASURE this book was! I read the entire book in 24 hours and can't wait to read it again! A book on friendship...riveting- I sure wasn't thinking that it would be ...but it WAS! A page turner! I loved how the author integrated her personal experiences with so much Godly wisdom and SO MUCH SCRIPTURE!!!!! I couldn't get enough of it! I think the book could so easily be transitioned into a devotional or Bible study as well (and hope the author does this in the future :)! Can't recommend it highly enough! Your life will be Blessed tremendously by the few days it will take to read this book- the poignant words of the Lord and application to your life will be transforming...
