I'm a case freak, especially when dealing with a $1000 phone like the Note 9. Ive already purchased 3 previous cases; all similar in type, clear, TPU hard plastic, slightly different in color and all with the same coverage around the phone. I prefer as minimal a case a possible without sacrificing protection. I'd read some reviews about the Ringke case and I really liked the fact that it was clear but with a hard bumper all around as well as raised protection on the back. It was also nice to find this in the same lilac color as my Note. The phone is easy to grip, the places where the buttons are are all responsive and there is complete coverage around the phone. I feel confident that if I dropped my phone, it would be protected in the case. Last but not least, I LOVE the way the case looks and feels in hand.
3/17/19: I noticed a few reviews saying that the clear part of the case arrived scratched and/or it scratches easily. First, it arrives with a plastic film on both the inside and outside of the case; something I was impressed with. Once both were peeled away, the clear part is beautiful and no scratches. I've had the case for a few days, been out on about with it, can wipe it down and it still looks great, with no scratches.

Really Rugged And Gorgeous Case But 2 Flaws..
Everything is great about this case, I am really greatful that I purchased this case. When you hold it, it sure feels like a durable case and the grip is great, best part is the back design, really cool to show the beauty of the phone and the case design is so cool. This purple case goes well with a purple Note 9. Finally got my device. This case fits perfect and looks great. I really like the fingerprint scanner area. Feels very smooth and I can easily access without struggle. Fusion X gives you super clear transparency on the back and perfect look. I think I'll go with Fusion X from now on lol

Got this case yesterday and its pretty decent. Case itself is not too bulky not too thin. I’ve been using Ringke Fusion clear for my old phone and bumper side turned yellow after using two month, however I don’t have to worry about my case turning yellow since the bumper itself is built with black color. It also has really nice grip. I’ll probably update my review again when i receive my note 9, but so far so good.
