Customers like the temperature of the electronic component fan. They say that the temperature is amazing, it keeps things nice and cool, and the cooling works great. It has done very well in preventing spikes in CPU temps when handling batch video processing and program. The extra heat dissipates more quickly than if the fans were pulling, and it's a great all-in-one liquid CPU cooler. The tubes are somewhat stiff, so the flow of water isn't restricted, so don't think that the tubes are restrictive.

Customers find the installation process of the electronic component fan to be easy. They mention that it is easy to mount to the motherboard, set up a custom fan curve, and navigate the ICUE software. The variable pump speed makes it easy in the software for adjustments, and the technical support is good.

Customers generally like the appearance of the air cooler. They say it looks very nice and clean, with a cool color logo that matches the colors of their motherboard. They also mention that it fits perfectly and tight, with good hardware included, and provides good cooling. Some customers also say that PC temps look good, with only slight temperature spikes during heavy rendering.

Customers like the color of the electronic component fan. They say that the RGB lighting customization was an added surprise, and the LED can be changed into any color. The Corsair logo light can also light up in any color to match your build. The color warning system to show when it gets too hot is also appreciated. 557 customers mention376 positive181 negative

Customers have mixed opinions about the performance of the fan. Some mention it performs better than expected, works great for X99 processors, and has a black paint coating that increases performance. The washers do seem to be working well, but make sure this will fit inside your case. The stock fans do a fine job in terms of actually moving air. Others say that it didn't work with Linux at all, the pump instantly died without warning, and that iCue and Link are as awful to use as Asus's software.

Customers are mixed about the noise of the electronic component fan. Some mention that it's very quiet under low load, the fans are usually silent, and the pump does have a little vibration. Others say that the fans get a litle bit loud and the rattling of the pump is noticeable.

Either mine was cherry picked or....
After reading the reviews, with the 1* reviews being what I saw almost exclusively until I clicked on see all reviews, I decided I should add my experience with the cooler in action for just over one full year. I built this system last February (2018) and not too much has changed on this build that wasn't cosmetic or a peripheral. I upgraded from a Strix 1080 to a Strix 2080(OC Edition), modded my s340 elite to allow push/pull on the radiator and installed Corsair HD fans on the back of the rad and on the case, added a 2TB HDD, and finally a Noctua 40mm fan for the VRM heatsinks. With TG Kyronaut on the CPU and running long enough for coolant temps to stabilize, the only time I ever hit 80c or above was during some extensive stress testing trying to test the coolers capabilities, OC stability, and my cases thermal characteristics. Otherwise I idle around 26-30c and under gaming load Typical temps are 55-62c with some games like AC Odyssey pushing into the high 60's low 70s. Those temps are from cooling an OC'd to 5.1GHz 8700k @ 1.390v with all fans at 75% fixed. I've never had a complaint with the pump being loud or unreliable, the stock fans on this cooler though are really darn loud in my opinion. I can ramp up my GPU and All 4 (3x 120mm, 1x 140mm) corsair HD fans first and its still immediately obvious when I open iCue and ramp the stock fans up too. However, I understand that fan noise is one of the minor prices to pay when overclocking. I will agree that iCue and Link are as awful to use and unstable as Asus's software, but its manageable. So to sum up, for what I paid I am very happy with my temps and the coolers overall performance during this first year of usage cooling an OC'd 8700k, while crammed in an s340 elite with an overclocked AIB RTX card. The stock fans could used replaced with something thats quieter and pushes a little more but its not at all a vital upgrade. Replace the stock thermal compound with a quality one such as Noctuas compound or TG Kryonaut, and you'll have the aesthetics and bragging rights of liquid cooling, as well as better temps in your rig for not much more money than a high end air cooler. Based on my experience alone, I would recommend this product. It's unfortunate to hear so many are having issues with theirs as that has not been the case for me.NOTE: The push/pull mod didn't net me the improvements I figured it would, only around 5c average lower temps at load since the addition. No difference in idle temps. However depending on your setup, it could improve your temps much better than it did mine. I'm still happy I did it, just don't want people thinking its a huge key to why I've had good luck with this cooler. I only did the mod a month and a half ago anyways, before that its been just the stock fans on the cooler.
