First and foremost a comic creator, Kirkman has seen groundbreaking success in the adaptation of his comic book titles into major franchises in all forms of content. In 2010, his Eisner award winning series, The Walking Dead, was developed into an AMC television series. It has become a worldwide phenomenon as the highest-rated basic cable drama of all time and is the #1 show on television among the coveted 18-49 demo. The property has also been extended into a blockbuster game franchise, licensing business and ongoing publishing success.

Kirkman also serves as consulting producer of The Talking Dead, the popular talk show hosted by Chris Hardwick that deep dives into each week’s episode of both The Walking Dead and its companion series Fear the Walking Dead. Kirkman is co-creator, writer and producer of The Walking Dead’s companion series, Fear the Walking Dead.

He is also executive producer of the AMC series Robert Kirkman’s Secret History of Comics, and the Korean pre-apocalyptic drama, Five Year. Kirkman’s popular demonic-exorcism comic, Outcast, was adapted, produced and airs on Cinemax.

For the big screen, Kirkman will produce Invincible based on his long-running popular comic book. The project will be written, directed and produced by Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg for Universal Pictures. Other credits include AIR featuring Norman Reedus and Academy Award nominee, Djimon Hounsou.

Additional Kirkman comics include Super Dinosaur, Battle Pope, Astounding Wolf-Man, and Thief of Thieves.

Robert is also the Chairman of Skybound Entertainment. Robert, an advocate for creator rights, co-founded Skybound alongside his longtime business and producing partner David Alpert in an effort to ensure creators are able to maintain their intellectual property rights and creative control.

A great, great, series. I never followed tje walking dead before in this format. Read right through the whole series within the month. Box arrived in pristine condition. People who give this item less than 4 or 5 complaining about the box have the opportunity to contact Amazon for a replacenent. I have been there and Amazon delivers (no pun intended). Read the policy on returns and ensure your within the return period for a replacement. Again a GREAT series to read.

Edito: me ha llegado ya tres veces, a cual peor. La segunda vez la caja más rota que la primera, la tercera aún peor, y encima con alarma de tienda, así que me han enviado la devolución de algún timador. Ya para terminar de aderezar todo esto, los tomos tienen errores de impresión, de los 3 ejemplares de cada uno de los tres tomos, no he conseguido ni uno de los 9 que no tuviera errores de impresión. Menuda chapuza.
Edito de nuevo: cuarto ejemplar igual de mal que el segundo. Conclusión: no compres esto por Amazon o ten claro que solo vas a poder aprovechar los libros.

Reading the reviews about damaged pieces i was hesitant to get this. Along with experience of receiving damaged compendium 1 recently (which i had to return)

I made the order and i made sure I selected "Ship in Amazon box".

When it arrived in the amazon box the actual collectors piece was in another box which meant i received an absolute mint piece, which was awesome.

The compendiums and additional content are well printed along with the collectors box which has fantastic art work to a high standard and detail.

The collectors box is strong all round and has a strong magnet closing system to keep the compendiums secure whilst moving the box. It is also fairly compact so it is easy to store.

I would highly recommend this and is one of the cheapest ways to get majority of the compendiums in a special collectors edition.
