It's sorta good
1/1/2021-I bought this for my sister for playing music at work. She tells me the battery only lasts two days. I presume it's because the screen is on all day long. I have to change that. The buttons are very sensitive. it would be nice if they were more like a click type that you had to depress rather than just touch. I had to write individual instructions for her as the booklet doesn't explain clearly what to do. Locking the screen seems to be the only answer. Except when she wants to shut down then she has to unlock and shutdown. It's just not easy for her to understand. I on the other hand had no problems with it and could blunder through the menu and find things quite easily.So, it's depends on who's using it and the degree of knowledge of these devices. If you're not interested in learning and just want to hear music; it's not going to work well for you. I do agree the buttons are sensitive and you have to hit them in the right spot or they don't respond.I like it and could get used to it. She is bringing it back for more training Sunday. It's been 3 weeks of training. Then, she brings it to work and something goes wrong and I get emails telling me it's not working again. I have to figure out what she pressed and how to get out of the problem.I guess the verdict is still out on this one.

Well, personally I hate getting spied upon, and tracked, and radiated/microwaved.
So this is a cool solution for listening to your music and for recording notes. Especially on the go.
The sound quality is great, it's small and is extendable with a tiny chip to hold even more stuff on it.
I was worried when I read the manual it would be complex adding music and recordings to the device but it is super easy. I simply connected it to my Windows laptop, copied over entire folders and subfolders with their contents and all is easily found on the device and plays no worries.
So I can have folders for different music genres, folders for educational stuff like EFT coaching, inspirational and motivational stuff like Napoleon Hill etc.
It holds quite a lot of recordings!
I also tried voice recording. Works well for indoors and close up to the device. Wouldn't recommend to record a conversation from afar though it picks up ambient sounds, just not so loudly. Which is good! Playback is fine with earphones.
I should finish reading the manual but I hate manuals - it's cool this is real easy to use even with just looking at the first page in the manual to see where functions/buttons are and for what. The rest is pretty intuitive if it is not your first time using some digital recorder/player or gadget...
Cons:
Unlike iPhone and similar the playback built-in speakers are not loud.
You'd need to connect to some portable speaker if you want to blast out your music or whatever recorded lesson you want to listen to without earphones.
But hey, I sometimes wish all phones were like this, because I really hate walking along the beach when I wanna relax and instead of hearing the lovely ocean wave sound I get noise-pollution people blasting their horrid noise at me.
All in all: a great gadget I find useful and @ a great price!
