I had been looking to replace an older square that I had with this one, and finally Amazon had a good sale going right after Christmas and so I got this Stanley square, great price. I am very happy with it, it has numbers engraved into the steel metal to help with measurements and calculations. Very strong metal and durable, did not hurt it when I dropped it now twice, it did not bend it at all. I would buy more if I needed more from Stanley with out hesitation.

I am terribly disappointed with this square and would like to return it! One of the problems with on-line purchasing is that you really cannot thoroughly examine the article. The problem with this square is that it is very hard to read. The silver on silver markings are simply too hard to read in less than ideal light conditions, how do I return it for credit?
