Comfortable but not quality. I've had them for about 3 months and the bottom soles are cracking and wearing through already. I only wear them to work at my desk job but apparently even light duty will destroy these cheapos.

These shoes are a blended leather, but seem very durable. Soft inner and otter sole, so they are comfortable for standing and light walking. Of course if you do a lot of walking- you want to get something more for that, being a ankle boot (with a stiffer blended leather) the front tongue of the boot will rub your chin and irritate it. I also suggest getting a pack of cotton socks to wear with them (just in case you get stuck doing more walking than anticipated). I work at a desk, so these are great! I also like the fact of the dull leather look because you can easily put with jeans and a blazer (or something else) for a more casual look that's not as dressy as a shined 100% leather. I think i will buy them in brown as well.

These boots look pretty awesome. I've rocked them with jeans and sweats-joggers thus far. I saw a review saying they are a b!+(# to get them on and off... this is SO true, the back tab is practically too short to even help much and you def gotta lace and unlace each time. They are pretty comfortable though. They def are not water resistant. Had a night in the rain and yeah they were drenched from rain and puddles. That said they seemed to look the same now being dry, still need to wear again sense though. Overall if you get them for a steal price, I'd say $45 or under you have a decent pair of shoes/boots that can be worn casually with light blue jeans or a bit more business causal with darker wash jeans. I'm not sure I would pay $45+ for them though, seeing as I am not too familiar with the IZOD brand in terms of shoes. I will update this over the months gentlemen. Thanks for reading!

2022 Update:
So my beloved boots finally will have to be retired. I wore them out for a birthday dinner a few days ago after idk how long not really wearing them during COVID years till present day. So if you should treat them, know I did not. I noticed some peeling on the sides around creases and I figured just wear and tear. Later in the evening someone asked me what was wrong with my boot. I was kinda embarrassed and shocked to see the inside of the left shoe was separating from the sole. If still same craftsmanship, I would buy again. To get a solid say 3 years (2016-2019) out of a pair of boots isn’t bad. Thanks IZOD.

After many, many issues receiving the item (took several weeks from what was supposed to be 2-day delivery), I finally received the shoes. They looked great and even came with 2 different colors of shoelaces, one that was dark and better for winter and one pair that is a lighter beige. That was a very nice surprise and I was excited to start wearing the shoes. After about 3 wears, though, I noticed that the leather upper had begun to start to tear away from the sole. This was extremely disappointing. I thought a good brand like IZOD would be able to make a good, high-quality of product but I guess not. I wouldn't recommend these shoes to anyone else because the quality was so lacking. They had such promise too.

The shoe is resilient and it looks amazing. The shoes are smooth at the bottom, but they still have a very decent grip on snow in winter.

Word of advice: the shoelaces that come with the shoes are very weak. You'll need to buy newer shoelaces very soon after receiving the shoes.
