Product Description

Martin is a mentally disturbed loner who lives with his nagging mother in a bleak London housing project, where loud neighbors and cramped living conditions threaten to plunge this victim of sexual and psychological abuse over the edge.He works the night shift as a security guard in an underground parking garage, where customers and their vehicles come and go as he indulges his obsession with THE HUMAN CENTIPEDE (FIRST SEQUENCE) watching the film over and over on the small TV set in his office and meticulously examining the scrapbook he has lovingly filled with memorabilia from the film, including the mouth-to-anus surgery instructions made famous by Dr. Heiter, the mad scientist from Martin's favorite movie.Pushed to the brink by his harridan mother, haunted by the teasing voices of his abusive and incarcerated father, Martin sets into motion his plan to emulate Heiter's centipede by creating his own version, in a rented warehouse, which he begins to fill with victims, including a loud neighbor, two drunk nightclubbers, a prostitute and a lecherous john, and several more ... including Martin's piece de resistance, one of the actresses from THE HUMAN CENTIPEDE (FIRST SEQUENCE).Except that Martin lacks the surgical skill, medical instruments and operating theater necessary to create a larger centipede in the image of Dr. Heiter's masterpiece. So he makes use of materials at hand: duct tape, staple gun, household tools and a fanboy moxie. What follows is one of the most harrowing and terrifying films ever conceived, featuring a central character that makes FIRST SEQUENCE's Dr. Heiter seem downright cuddly in comparison. THE HUMAN CENTIPEDE (FINAL SEQUENCE) is a triumph in biological horror by one of the new masters of the horror film.

Ever hear of "The Aristocrats" joke? They even made a documentary on it. It's about a family auditioning for a stage act, and it's basically an exercise in improvisation on the part of the teller to see just how offensively explicitly obscenely over the top flat out revoltingly gross that audition can be. Many have had a crack at it, some with considerable talent, and the results have been interesting for those who can appreciate that type of thing.

The sub-genre of torture porn in horror films seems to be following a trend comparable to "The Arostocrats", and if it continues, it's probably going to burn itself out in unintentional self-parody. Some would argue that this point has already been reached, and they may be right, although it's hard to say. What people find disturbing is highly subjective. If you had asked me two months ago which film I would personally classify as "most disturbing", it would have likely been "A Serbian Film". The title holder prior to that would have been "August Underground Mordum", which held that dubious honor for seven years. Now "Human Centipede 2" comes along and slams "A Serbian Film" into the sewer a mere two months later. Horror certainly has gotten edgier these days. In any case, Tom Six is a director with some talent, and I think this one's going to be talked about for awhile. It certainly helps that the movie's villain is without a doubt the CREEPIEST character I've ever seen.

Anyway, if extreme horror is your thing, go for it. To date, I think it's the best of the lot. Or worst, considering how you look at it. 99.9% would say it's fit only for burning, and it would be difficult to argue the point. Why this type of thing appeals to me, I really can't say. But it does, and this one freaked me right the &!@# out.

By all means this film is very wrong on all human levels, but its just that, a film and nothing more. Inside of it is a parody of itself taking into account the first movie as a movie. What is sad is that it just paints a dark and twisted light on mental illness, on depression and other things. I sort of makes you think about the importance of mental health, how to get some sunshine, laugh and love others, spend time doing cheerful things. to forgive and be more human, to have faith and join a religion. Also it made me think of how white people treated black slaves toofor some reason, it made me think of the third reich, and how dehumanizing some victims suffered. How people treat LGBTQ people, how whites took the lands of native peoples and killed them off, humans can be very evil and uncaring without consciousness, without love. So there, you can get good out of evil and light out of darkness, in this movie that is what I come out with. I usually do not watch this type of film because its just not my ting but curiosity, I do not see any value to this film at all besides the points I made. The only thing I liked was Lucas Hansen, the blonde guy on all fours, he is thin and sexy, and well the sight of him on all fours giving and getting analingus as very erotic, and I think there is some sexual undertone to the movie, the submissive part, on all fours before the master, and the analingus aspect for those who like it and consider it in bed. There is a bit of comedy and eroticism in the movie, what I did not like was the dark and erie aspects to it.

I bought this DVD for a very close friend of mine for her birthday - Clearly I'm Friend-of-the-year. We watched the First Sequence together and LOVED it. The First Sequence was slightly disturbing... but it was different and entertaining. It felt a little "edgy" or something. It was cool, plain and simple. So when we found out about The Human Centipede 2, I knew I had to get it for her. We set up a night to watch it just recently, and sat down with our dinner and drinks, just like we did for the first one..... only this time neither of us finished our dinner. Mostly I couldn't look away, but at times I couldn't look directly at the TV either. Some of the sound effects, although borderline childish, still made it difficult to watch. The hammer. The scissors. The staple gun and the crow bar....

She gagged.
I hid behind pillows.
It ended, and I went home feeling dirty.

However, I can't say I didn't enjoy it. As other reviewers have stated, this movie pretty-much "goes there." It shows you everything that was left to your imagination in the 1st movie. You ask a question, it answers.

"But a staple gun? That won't make such a great seal?"
:cue explosive diarreah:

"But why wouldn't someone just try and rip their mouth off?"
:cue face/anal ripping:

What else is there to say, other than I can't wait to see the next one!!!

5.0 out of 5 stars Meet Martin and his 12-Person pet Centipede!!
Reviewed in Canada on April 21, 2015
Most horror fans already know the story and concept behind the The Human Centipede. Those who haven't seen it or refuse to probably have nightmarish mental images of some of the atrocities committed in that film.

While some of those horrific images are present in the first movie, it's rather restrained in its on-screen execution, only showing brief glimpses of the horror and leaving much to the imagination. It's actually a rather well-done, psychological/body horror film hybrid with a very unique concept that it executes fairly well!!

Now onto the sequel.... Hoo boy, the sequel!!

THE PLOT:
-------------
Martin is a disturbed man. He's in his 40's, he's a security guard at a parking garage who lives with his witchy, elderly mother. He's also a selective mute, who's obsessed with the Tom Six original Human Centipede. (Yes, it's only a movie in this sequel.)

As time goes on, his fascination grows into dangerous obsession, which culminates in him setting out to make a 12-person 'human centipede' of his own, to get back at those who constantly bully, abuse or mistreat him on the regular basis at his job or daily life.

And so, life imitates grisly art in this body-horror shocker, with no room for the squeamish!!

REVIEW:
----------
Remember what I was saying about the first film having a decent amount of restraint?? Well, this one just shrugs off any and all notion of said restraint and delivers one gruesome, fully uncut, fully on-screen barrage of body horror/torture-porn violence!! (All that was only hinted at in the first film is shown here in its full gory glory.)

Don't let the fact that it's black & white fool you; it doesn't do much to hide any of the horror you're seeing, especially when one color does enter the palette: brown. (Those who've seen the first movie will know just what THAT entails!!) And YES, they show IT. They show a bunch of IT!! (Heck, they show every bodily fluid known to man by the end of this film!!

And those buying the Canadian version are in for a little bonus surprise; the Canadian version is FULLY Uncut with the full scat scene and the full infamous barbwire scene. (The less I say here, the better!!)

VERDICT:
-----------
I bought both this movie and HC1 on DVD a few years ago and am glad to have added it to my rather large horror collection. It really isn't for everyone, just hardcore gore-hounds and fans of gross-out horror. The acting is pretty bad, the characters are just pawns for Martin's creation, yet it's still enjoyable if you know what you're getting into and what to expect!!

Tom Six made this movie as a middle finger to movie censorship and I feel that it really shows, especially by some of the insanity that unfolds in this movie!!

Definitely my favorite of the 3!! And definitely one of the craziest things, sickest things you'll ever see on film!!
