This peppermint is wonderful in hot chocolate! But in my experience, it's only so-so as a coffee flavoring (the reason why I bought it). I found the strength of the peppermint flavor adequate.

One thing that really helped my use of this product was the addition of a dropper top! Of course, this is not provided by the seller, but if you have one laying around at home left over from something else, then it helps tremendously! Otherwise, the contents of the small bottle just sort of pours out, inevitably dispensing too much; and also dribbling down the sides of the bottle, wasting a bunch of product and making your fingers smell like peppermint (not that that's completely a bad thing).

I honestly can't imagine using this bottle without a dropper top!

I have an old bottle of Frontier’s alcohol-free maple flavor that I love, because of it’s strong maple flavor. It is dark and much more liquid in consistency compared to the new one which is almost clear and is very thick and sticky. I feel like with this (new) one I’m paying for a bottle of expensive glycerin. Plus the new one has maple-syrup, molasses and sugar in it. So not a sugar-free product. When all you’re looking for is the maple flavor there is no need to add sweetener. Sugar is cheap - we can add it ourselves if we want to. But the biggest disappointment here is how weak the flavor is. With the old one, a little bit went a long way. The new one - you have to add a lot to get enough flavor.
