I'm glad it's a bit snug. 5'2" 180 about 30" waist. I got a medium
The first time I put it on I thought I made a mistake because I couldn't breathe but by the second trial, it was easier. I notice that my waist is smaller, lost 3 inches after one week of use. Be mindful, I also use a sweat band and workout for 2 hours 3-5 days a week. But this corset/waist trainer I use under my clothes while at school and work. I do not recommend working out with this on because it's very snug and until you adjust, it's difficult to breathe efficiently for a good workout.
It has been almost a month and I wear this corset ritually. Love it! Wild order again if it ever loses elasticity.

It's very bulky which is the biggest thing to dislike and then it's short so if I put it down for my lower belly them my upper part of my stomach sticks out. It does offer a nice pull in however and it can be used for exercise but to wear under ur clothes is impossible if u wanted something discreet. It could be that I bought the wrong size... I can't be certain. But I use it.

Good quality however the customers who taking pictures obviously don't have a clue it suppose to wrap across the front of your stomach as screen in the listing if the bands on the side only come to your sides it's too small.... look at the length and give yourself and extra 4-5 inches. Had to return for a larger size my waist is a 32 the small was too small re-ordered a medium...
